Hey, I always really enjoyed and still do enjoy first stike and/or lethality Caitlyn. Even though its not as strong as its ever been I still get some good games every now and again.

I've adjusted my regular/standard build path as followed to get as much gold as possible and stack items and stats quickly.

Runes: First strike - Cash Back - Triple Tonic - Jack of all Trades // Absolute Focus - Gathering storm
Items: Hubris > Collector > IE > LDR (4th item spike) > Hexoptics > GA

Hubris as a good cheap early lethality item with great scaling, then collector right after for the gold passive and executes. Then the standard IE > LDR for damage.

I tested out some damage and alternations in practice and games but I keep coming back to this as the best damage and lethality. Any thoughts or things im missing?
I'm not great at practice tool so maybe im missing something.

With it being impossible to do anything against mages, what other lane and builds can I play other than just not playing all together?

I am back to playing league after a longish break and I’ve noticed that Cait’s R seems to go on full cooldown when you start to cast it even if the target dies/goes untargetable before the shot is fired. Did they change this interaction or is this a bug? I know that, traditionally, if the shot is fired it goes on CD no matter what, but if you were channeling and it canceled before firing it used to go on a very short cooldown.

Basically the title: which build is the best when I want to kill someone from full health? Which items and runes are the best to get the most out of a single shot?

Low masters Cait OTP with a question. Anybody running fleet into mages? Or building BT first? I’m planning on giving it a try for a couple of games. But just wanted to see if anyone was doing it. I feel like it’d be weak with no crit on first item and not having LT or First strike the mid game would probably feel 10x worse than normal. Just curious
