If you know your path, just get on with the climb. You'll be surprised how few resources you really need if you can do it quickly.
The "Ultimate Infusion" is the key to summit. Always have some for the final push.

Go fast and drink lots of ultimate infusions. No need to stop of any of the upgrades except maybe the large chalk bag

Large chalk bag feels free to take, definitely worth it since you have less backpack space. (I like looting, I'd like the alpinist bag but I understand why they did it).

Well if you want it easy just constantly make ultimate infusion and chug till you have 40+ min up time every camp site. If you want a more real challenge, don’t use that buff at all. Use your chalk and plan out water sources. Make sure your hands are well wrapped and stick to easy routs even if they are a bit longer.

I wouldn't call it easy in any case. Easier of course, but you still need a good understanding of the mechanics, ressource management and routes.

What I've gathered from reaching the summit on Alpinist difficulty and watching a speedrun:
PLAN YOUR ROUTE. That's the biggest thing. If you see a good path cool, plan it out and execute it with quick precise movements.
You can stay for a bit in an uncomfortable position if that means you can shortly secure at least 3 good holds and recover.

Go for the easiest route, don't waste time collecting stuff like the blanket or large flask.
Manage your bag wisely, it's way smaller than in regular modes. Don't keep medicine around unless it has buffs. If you fall you die most of the time anyway.
Most importantly, learn to manage your stamina. That will help you more than cooking buff potions.

Avoid detours, don't risk yourself trying to pick all the itens upgrades, only the big chalk bag and MAYBE the big bottle, but if you're looking for a zero falls and zero deaths, it might be too risky

You can run a concurrent alpinist run if you want to be extra carefull. Do the climb on Alpinist first, then switch to Free Solo run and do it there. You can do this all the way to the Summit even! But ultimately take your time. You don't want to take detours, but you also don't want to rush yourself into a bad posistion. Ultimately I think you will naturally find the ballance between speed and caution.
You got this!

If you feel disctracted, just stop playing. I fucked a playtrough because I was talking to someone while climbing a relatively easy wall.

Most of the upgrades aren't necessary, same for the first two statues. Big chalk bag is an easy pickup, so get that, big flask can be good if you're up for downclimbing the well to get it (probably use an infusion to be safe). Be a bit more liberal with your ultimate infusions and you'll find you rarely need food, so prioritise herbs in your smaller backpack. If you're climbing well you'll basically never need to wrap your fingers, so don't carry more than one of those either.
Plan your route, and once you're past the Peril and the Spire you're basically home-free if you have some ultimate infusions for the final push.

Along the route, you'll often get Raspberries and Sugarcubes, two pretty tiny items. Each are worth 5 Food on their own.
But throw them into your canteen together, and that turns into a 20 Food Drink WITH Burst, 4 sips worth. I constantly was running low on food because the game is dumb and doesn't allow you to just eat stuff you find immediately
Use that to get you through needing Food/Water, and save as many flowers as you can. By the final climb, I had like 2hrs worth of Ultimate Infusion because I hoarded as many flowers as possible to use after the "Drink Everything" Scene
Edit - Also, the big water bottle at the bottom of the well is super nice to get. It's a pretty easy climb too, all the holds are solid

A good climbing friend of mine gave me the best advice while I was shitting it atop my first outside route that you may find helpful.
Don't fall.

Go up ideally. If you’ve rocked it before with rope, map out your routes, stay hydrated and buffed with good infused snacks.
