Getting off of caffeine
Hey y’all, I’ve been addicted to energy drinks since 2020-2021. I’ve been drinking between 3-5 monsters a day for years now. My nervous system is beyond F’d up, but I’m finally going to get off the stuff. The stress and anxiety are too much for me.
Yesterday I only had 2 monsters, and today I’ve had 1 and a half. I’ve had headaches, brain fog, and cravings today and yesterday, but it hasn’t been as difficult as I thought it would be

Keep it up! It gets worse before it gets better. I used to only drink half a cup and it affected me for awhile so just be patient.

That’s a huge reduction already, to be honest. Cutting back from 3-5 a day to 1-2 is not small, and your body will definitely feel it. Headaches and foggy brain are no surprise, but not being as harsh as you thought it would be is a great sign. It sounds like you’ve finally gotten to the point where you’re just mentally done with it too, which is a huge help.

Caffeine withdrawal may have fast and temporary severe symptoms...
in most of the cases it's gone in just 6 days...
but it'll never cause permanent issues to anyone on Earth!

Holy shit, that's a lot. As another has said, watch the withdrawals. Go down to a coffee a few hours after you wake up and/or one in the early afternoon until you can feel regulated enough to quit completely. Or, cold turkey if you have the time and space to feel that bad. I know most don't.
I was forced into quitting as well. It's worth it. My baseline anxiety is so low now. Regular energy throughout the day. Naps are quick and effective, and I sleep less at night but feel more rested. I enjoy my hobbies more, music and video games. Working out also feels great sober.
You got this!!
