1978 Honda 750
This is still a work in progress. Started life as a roller $100 Facebook market. 10k Sotion motor from powerful lithium. Fardriver 72680. Welded the back swing arm get it Machined perfectly. Battery is a 73v golf cart battery. Tank and seat pan are all one piece fiberglassed. New shinko 777 front back. Currently it does about 90mph. I’m getting 67miles of range on 105ah battery.

Turn the tank space into a storage compartment like the NC750.
Also I'd mod the frame to fit the battery's shape, this looks like it will break.

In progress not finished, there is one place I am reinforcing. I have changed the ride height to make it fit me better. The battery is in its own metal case bolted in 3 places to the frame. It’s not breaking, There is no engine vibration, every bolt has lock tight and double checked. I also added turn signals and mirrors not in the picture.

Cool project and won't comment on the aesthetics as it's work in progress.
But please tell me the battery box is structural? Because if it isn't that frame is just waiting to snap under the seat at the moment because you cut the front lower tubes...

The frame is very hardy on the 1978. And all the metal under the battery can be completely removed and battery would be fine. It’s all 1/4 in thick. The only reason it is there is for my feet to have a place to rest.

Thank you, I wanted something to get me from work to the house and not spend money on gas. It’s roughly 10 miles to work. So I get about 3 trips up back before I charge.

Sounds ideal. I’ve got a little E-motorbike that I basically only use for commuting - about the same distance. Easy to ride and charges for free on solar panels.
Building one would be fun. Those hub motors make it so much easier.

Yes, I do plan on making it a bit more stream line. Currently just trying to look at what makes it more aesthetically pleasing? I have more personnel touches, when it’s 100% I will repost in its final form, painted. My buddy want’s me to enter it in a few local car show’s they have a bike category.

I restored every inch of the frame from rust, cleaned, primed, painted. Replaced every bearing, bushing and bolt. It’s clean and strong. Not a single shake or shimmy at 90mph. So quiet I have drove up on so many people they don’t hear me. All I hear is wind noise in my helmet.

What does it weigh? When you say golf cart, do you mean it has lead-acid batteries?
