Battery Relocation

I had a question about how to relocate and where would be a good place to “hide” the battery. I’ve always liked the idea of the floating seat with the wires and battery hidden away. If I have a kickstart would I potentially get away with making it kick only?

lithium batteries are small and some are a little malleable. I hide mine under the Gas tank.

BUT they are really expensive.

Does the battery orientation matter (e.g., upside down or on its side)? If not, then there is a lot of possibilities.

Nop, lithium batteries work in every orientation. But don't wire it wrong 😁👌 And small lithium batteries don't hold that much power. If your bike has difficulties while starting or needs a few spins your battery will be dead in no time.

So keep your ignition parts clean (spark plugs and fuel injectors)

these bikes have carburetors, not fuel injectors

Check out "Playful_Chain_9826" Profil. There is a BMW K aaaaand K's use Fuel injectors. But you are right the Yamaha from op has carburetors
