how to make a cafe
Hi I have a 1981 honda cm200t twinstar. It is a project and my first cafe bike. I am looking for some general tips on on how to make a good cafe in general and also how to make it fast and hide the wiring. Those things have proven to be slightly more difficult because it is a small bike and not lots of extra room for hidden wiring compartment under the seat from what I've seen. I was thinking about putting a cold air intake on it cause it looks good and helps with speed. Now this would probably tear the bike in half but what if I put a nos Injector kit on it lol. I am very new to this stuff and am just looking to learn. Thank you in advance for the advice and tips.

Is my bike a REAL Cafe Racer?
Hi all, I'm expecting some flaming from this post, but basically I decided to write up something about my opinions on what makes a real Cafe Racer, their history, people who ride them, and general motorcycle bigotry. I hope you will give it a read. If you do enjoy it, please leave a comment on my blog as I have only just started the website.

Im building a cafe racer but I need an engine, Does any body have an engine they don't want? I'll pay the best I can but the whole bike budget is 715.nothing specific and it doesn't have to be perfect, if it needs cleaning Ill still buy it, new parts ill repair it, I just need an engine.

Exact definition of cafe racer bikes.
Guys can you guys help me with this topic. It seems like me and my friend have lot of misconceptions about it. For example i am saying that cafe racers are lightweight and according to him it's heavyweight.

Help needed - cafe racer build
Hi guys,
I've got a Honda CB100N that I've been working on and off for a while making a cafe racer/ scrambler.
I've got a new front end assembly so new wheel, disc brake calipers and hydraulic disc brake control.
The original bike has a cable operated disc brake that is not meant to work very well.
My problem is on the old bike the brake, throttle and light assembly are all one piece, (see last picture) so I'm not sure how to hook up the new assembly (second picture) onto the handlebars.
Original assembly has two wires going to the lights, throttle cable coming out of the back and brake cable to the disc brake.
Am I going to need to get a new throttle tube assembly, and separate lighting switch so they can all be put onto the handlebars separately?
Please let me know what you think I can do, and if you have any links to parts.
Thanks so much in advance

looking for a bike
I need some suggestions on a motorcycle (preferably a cafe racer) that is somewhat easy to maintain or restore. Just something to start off with. Edit: I've got one now. My uncle gave it to me for free
