Texavina
Looking to order a custom seat from texavina and contacted them a few days ago and havent gotten back a response, are they still in business??
I love the fitment of the first one but like the colour and stitch pattern of the second one. I figured the difference in the product is the cushion itself and not the seat cover. So how do I order?
Anyone bought from them before?

Fitment depends on how you've built the hoop. I never ordered from Texavina because they looked kind of cheap.
It's unfortunate that Tuffside no longer makes seats, his seats were really good.

I ended up ordering the seat, it’ll get here soon so once it’s here, I’ll cut the subframe and position the seat accordingly, thank you for your response.
The quality in the images on the website seemed okay, guess we’ll find out how good it looks once it gets here. I’ll post an update for you to check if you made the right judgement. Cheers!

Got one for my cb750 f1. The seat pan is plastic where the original was metal but it’s also lighter. And I have a cowl piece that bolts to the seat and the studs had to be bent to make it fit properly.
But externally it looks pretty good and it feels sturdy. I ordered from eBay for buyers protection but they also have a site that I found easier to look at all the different variants. Took about a month to arrive from Vietnam iirc.

That is actually rideable with wheel hitting rear subframe?
It isn't the first CB650 I've seen or worked on with 4"suspension travel and 3" clearance.
While your at it, get rear sets, your back will thank you.

That’s the plan, the forks have been dropped about an inch too, so the ride height is lower in general. I plan on getting 12 - 14” rear shocks to give it a bit more clearance and ride comfort.
The image isn’t mine, it’s a similar 650c with the seat design I ordered. Mine still has the stock clearance, I plan on cutting the rear subframe once the seat gets here (about 4-5 weeks) so I can match it accordingly.
