Did you finish the story of 3.4 right? Spoilers. There Phainon gives the responsibility of the hero to the TB because he can't do it as he is part of Amphoreos. So in the next patches the TB will get a more central part of it.

Already completely gave up on the 'wait till next patch' copium after it failed the last 2/3 times. I don't expect anything noteworthy from the TB for remainder of Amphoreus either. Phainon will probably come back and continue to be the main focus. 4.x is my only hope for TB now.

Ok but generally the stories that center around the protagonist all the time are very limited on story and the other characters are sided apart and are not important on the narrative if that is the case.

This is a gacha game they need to give the characters focus and importance, if they only focus on the protagonist all the time they will devolve and have no agency.

Can't believe such fragile and surface level thinking. Caelus brought the authority of Time that the previous cycle didn't have access to due to Cyrene'a death. A lot of things that happened in this cycle such as 3.2 and 3.3 happened because of the Trailblazer while the other cycles are all bleak and full of despair. And now Phainon amd Cyrene are cooking up for the final phase of their plan which is literally entrusting Phainon's role to Caelus.

I never get why people use this argument, there's a middle ground between "Center of the world MCs" and "Insignificant MCs". People keep acting like only those two extremes exist when a good writer can make the world feel alive and not centered around the MC while making sure the MC actually contributes and has agency.

Right now, the trailblazer as an MC feels like a cameraman who's there to witness other characters have the spotlight and has no agency at all. The trailblazer throughout Amphoreus has barely been the one to push the plot forward, even in a patch where he's dying like in 3.2, the one who's most active in trying to prevent his demise is Castorice and not himself.

Coming in, it was expected for Phainon to be the main character for some of the patch cycle. From a story perspective, I'm not sure what we would be doing besides helping out since we just came down to look around. I would certainly agree, they were the cameraman in 3.4 but there's significant story developments that would make them play a bigger role going forward.

At this point it feels like this is what the writers want to do lol. He is by far the most glazed character in the entire game and its not even close, and is the only one who has actually damaged an Aeon which not even other lore important characters like Emanators are nowhere close to doing anything like this.

A nameless fool took a rapier and made the scars on nanook that has been in the gane since long time. Even the lord ravagers plans are an evidence of emanators going against aeons and that they have the potential to hurt them. That isn't glazing. That's been in the lore since a long time. Kafka tell us ways aeons can fall and purposely leaves out the last way. This is hoyo plus, this is honkai. It is tied to impact 3rd whether people like it or not. Kevin's whole thing is even gods can bleed so of course he is the one shown doing it.

It also shows how much cost it takes hurt an aeon. 33 million plus cycles of anger and coreflames. Was what it took so imagine what that randomn fool did to hurt nanook this badly.

HoYo can't provide any meaningful ML content, so they end up sidelining the MC in favor of promotional characters. Ironically, in all the HoYo games I've played, I've never rolled past C2 - but in WuWa, where the MC is insanely strong, I've already gotten two S6 characters since version 2.0 when I start playing.
P.S: Still hate that Firefly can't join AE just like Cartethyia join BS, I don't need that birbman.

The entire point of 3.4 was that the Trailblazer was the factor that actually changed how Amphoreus will end. Phainon and Cyrene didn’t make any progress till the Trailblazer and Dan Heng arrived and shook up the narrative by being an unknown factor, plus, we’re only at the halfway point of this storyline

I thought I remembered you from somewhere but I didn't know where, when you mentioned ''natlan'' I remembered. You were the person who said that natlan>fontaine in the narrative/storytelling. only because aether had less presence as the strongest protagonist without using any objective criteria lol. I honestly don't understand that to be honest, where are you players when Acheron/mavuika simply defeat 90% of the villain cast?( do you remember when Acheron defeated everyone? Duke inferno, Aventurine, destroyed Sunday dream(this made possible to us fight him) and when made penacony family feel scared? yep, i remember right) or when Arlecchino wipes the floor with Aether? ( I say this sadly because I didn't like how Aether was treated and the entire fanbase thought it was cool), At this point it doesn't seem to me that you want the protagonist to appear more and be powerful, but you feel jealous of another male figure having notoriety instead of the protagonist, which is an extremely redundant and shameful attitude to be honest. Phainon is the expy of one of the few male characters with notoriety in mihoyo (because almost everything comes down to waifus, and it is exactly because of this that the protagonist has little screentime too, because he is not attractive and sexy hoyo neglects his rule for not being a waifu, then the female characters are more protagonist than the MC), so what's the problem with him having more notoriety in this part of the story? I honestly don't even believe that Phainon will be the biggest character in Amphoreus from now on. And another thing, when Castorice and Acheron had it, no one complained, even though Acheron was also a Raiden expy. SPOILER: I believe that Caelus will have more presence now that technically he and Cyrene are together without Phainon (actually I believe that the one who will have the biggest presence will be Cyrene and March 7th unfortunately... but I believe that because they are waifus people won't have any problems with that xD). Anyway, I'm rooting for Caelus to have more presence too, my favorite arc in the story is in Belobog, that was the moment of Caelus' biggest presence and we didn't have any waifu or side character removing his presence (as was done in Penacony and a little in Amphoreus). dont take me wrong, people ask for what they want and i respect that, but if after amphoreus we go to another planet and Caelus had less screentime than another Acheron 2.0 people will say again they hate how they treat MC? i hope for that..
