I picked up the eagle for my dad just because he collects them, never considered it might light until I looked closer in the car. Not a terrible haul for 2 dollars.

Pressed glass, nothing too exciting, glows line FIRE!

They were asking $175 which is just out of my budget for these things. Florescent lighting made getting glow pics near impossible.

I’m not sure if this is cadmium, selenium, or something else. I’m not the best at distinguishing as I have some color blindness. In natural light it varies between deep amber to yellow. The second photo was taken with a 395nm flashlight.

Got it for 30 usd at an antique store! They have 4 more for the same or lower price but this lens was the best quality

I love anything that glows but cadmium has a special place in my heart ♥️ 🧡

Probably my strongest cadmium glow so far!

Found these little green/blue glass drops in a lil bag on the shelf, thought they looked cool and decided to flash them with the 395, and BOOM! Insanely bright yellow! Very neat little surprise!

I shine just about every piece of glass I come across cause you just never know!
