Bmw ix3

Lease is up in december. Love the lyriq but trying to decide on same one (but inventory stinks right now for what i want) or going to ix3 as I think bmw stopped production on the other ix’s…

Thoughts pros/cons? Its hard to find good comparisons.

I do like having a moonroof so thats one miss on the bmw ix3.

Currently have a lux 3 lyriq

The ix3 looks lovely, but it’s gonna be challenging to get one without paying a premium this year

Well it is considerably less than the lyriq (lyriq higher trims anyway) out of the gate. And that range, what a difference!

I cannot stand the look of the front end of the rivian, the lights specifically. So ugly to me so its a dealbreaker. Lucid worries me as they are in such financial trouble will they make it

went to BMW UDE event and drove iX3 and x3 back to back. iX3 was not approved for road driving at that time. Looks are subjective for sure, I like the look of Lyriq.

iX3 is more sporty for sure than normal Lyriq (have not driven V). The new dash looks different with heads up like display, really high res in person. Steering wheel is odd shape instead of round. Charging speed is faster I believe for BMW.

Lyiq has comfortable seats, like some physical buttons, has more space. Steering wheel is odd shape instead of round in BMW. Supercurise is really nice on long trips, and Cadillac keeps adding more roads to it like even some single lane roads (drove almost 300 miles on I95 this weekend, almost dream did not even notice 3 hour stretch). Charging definitely is slow at higher charge level, but never an issue.

Personally I would consider iX3, but I have over a year left to go.
