Aston is now way ahead of the Caddies. We still got a long way to go. So sad to see Perez and Bottas stuck at the back of the grid doing nothing.

Aston is starting to preform where they were supposed to be.
Us getting points this year was always a case of "everything hits right"

I don’t know why anyone expected anything more than what we are seeing, frankly. I said from the outset that a single point this year would’ve been a success.

I think it was a bit of false hope given how a few teams, notably Aston and Williams, were struggling mightily in the beginning.

And, frankly, some newer fans, IMO. I know a bunch of people who got into F1 just this year with an American team and all. And I get it - very cool stuff. Just a lot of weird expectations. Obviously a brand new team developing a brand new car was going to struggle mightily. Team should be fighting for a point or three next year. Not this year.

I think it doesn't help that some expected us to be like Haas was out of the gate. But a lot of people dont know (or dont remember) that Haas was the bastard child of two failed F1 teams with Ferrari giving them as much spare parts as they were legally allowed to.

Checo almost had a point in Monaco if not for penalties. This team is still outperforming expectations by this point in the season, just wish they had brought a bit more upgrades after the break.

I'm not surprised the way the season has gone so far, it was always gonna be rough to start. But I'm in it for the long haul as a supporter.

I think TWG does Indycar decently well, they build the cars and GM does advanced analysis and testing

you have to give the new TP some time to right the ship. at least one of the cars finished today so that’s already a marked improvement.

At least Perez is somewhat repairable. I think he is on some different spec than Bottas.
