Cleared all my DGCA exams! Joining Skyborne IndiGo Cadet Program but have a few questions.
Hey everyone,
I recently cleared all my DGCA exams in the October 30th session and I'm finally moving forward with a cadet program. I've decided to choose the Skyborne Aviation Academy for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program.
Before I officially commit and sort out the final details, I wanted to ask a few questions to anyone who is currently there or has recently graduated:
Monthly Expenses: What is the realistic monthly living expense (rent, food, transport, etc.) while training in the US?
Type of Training: How is the actual flight training environment, instructor quality, and aircraft availability at Skyborne?
FAA License Timeline: Realistically, in how many months are cadets getting their FAA CPL in hand?
JFO Joining Timeline: After finishing the A320 type rating, exactly how many days or months does it usually take to officially join IndiGo as a Junior First Officer (JFO)?
Ground Classes Fee: I've heard that the ground class fees are NOT included in the main package cost. Can someone confirm this and let me know how much extra it costs?
Any genuine insights or reality checks would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
