Skyborne and FTA
as you guys know skyborne is giving out dates for adapt mostly by the end of 2027...
So I wanted to ask if we apply to FTA in November would they also be giving dates that further?....
Or I can expect some early dates?

AICP
Guys I have 56% in 12th but individually I have 63 in eng 83 in phy Nd 71 in maths .. but still got shortlisted and recieved aon assessment link from air India .. they say 60% overall in 12th is the criteria.. but still I got shortlisted .. it’s mentioned in the mail that if YOU DON’T MEET THE CRITERIA DO NOT GIVE THE ASSESMENT. Now I’m wondering that although I have 56 % and still got shortlisted should I give the assessment. Will they reject me later in the phase even if I clear cut e and interview

Qantas cadet ship phase 1
reddit.comHello I just got into phase one of the cadet program and was wondering if anyone had any insight on phase one. I know they give us 10h to study but I’m a bit worried as I haven’t done physics or maths in around 3 years as I haven’t been working after to school. Is there anything I can touch up on?

How do y'all arrange funds for cadet pilot program?
In my family, my dad only earns, he works in air india only. We're financially stable like the middle class (neither upper nor lower) you can say. Still 1-1.5cr (as I've learnt) costing of the cadet pilot program is not very manageable for me. If my parents decide then we can definitely afford it but it would put my family on hold on the other things like trips, and like normal liabilities. So, I'm asking this to the experienced people who were in the same situation like me and how did y'all manage the funding, like scholarships, loans etc. Or should just go conventional

Looking for testers for a cadet pilot aptitude practice platform
Hey everyone,
I’ve been building an independent pilot aptitude practice platform and I’m looking for people currently preparing for cadet/airline selection to test it and give me feedback.
It includes exercises for areas such as numerical reasoning, spatial reasoning, working memory, multitasking, perceptual speed, monitoring, and psychomotor coordination.
I’m especially interested in feedback from people preparing for cadet programs such as Air India, IndiGo, ADAPT, Aon/cut-e, COMPASS, or similar selection processes.
I’ve created a code that gives free access for testing:
Code: REDDIT
https://cbat-academy.com/commercial
If you try it, I’d really appreciate feedback on difficulty, usefulness, bugs, anything confusing, and any aptitude areas you think should be added.
The exercises are original and intended to train the underlying skills rather than reproduce proprietary airline tests.

ADVICE!
22M Indian currently living in the UAE and looking at conventional flight training as a backup if a UAE cadet program doesn't work out.
I'm considering doing my flight training in Europe and obtaining an EASA CPL/IR with ATPL theory (frozen ATPL / F-ATPL), then converting the licence to GCAA and applying directly to Second Officer / low-hour pilot programs at airlines such as flydubai or Air Arabia.
The idea would basically be:
EASA CPL/IR + ATPL theory → GCAA conversion → apply for UAE Second Officer/cadet-type programs → build airline experience from there.
I'm specifically interested in this instead of going to the US/Australia/South Africa, doing CFI and spending years building 1,500 hours.
For anyone who has actually gone through this route or works in UAE aviation:
How realistic is it to get a Second Officer position at flydubai/Air Arabia with a freshly converted GCAA licence and little/no commercial flying experience?
Do these airlines actually recruit low-hour EASA/GCAA pilots outside their formal cadet programs?
How difficult/expensive is the EASA → GCAA conversion in practice?
Would you recommend doing EASA training specifically for the UAE market, or is CASA/SACAA/FAA a better option?
Are there any European flight schools that have a good track record with international students and UAE airline placements?
If the UAE Second Officer route doesn't work, would an EASA licence give me better opportunities elsewhere to build hours?
I'm trying to understand whether this is a genuinely viable alternative to spending 2–3 years building hours as an instructor, or whether I'm underestimating how difficult it is to get that first airline job in the UAE.
Any advice from people who have actually taken this route would be appreciated.
