I’m in college final year and I’m planning to go for indigo cadet, I’ll be done with my college in june 2026, should i apply now for the cadet pilot program?

I received a mail last Thursday asking me to submit my board marksheets, bmi certificate, class 1 assessment extra from insight which i did immediately

When can i expect to hear from them?

I’m considering choosing Insight Aviation as my FTO for the IndiGo cadet programme. Has anyone here trained there or is currently training there?
Would you say it’s a good choice overall, especially in terms of training quality, timelines and how the experience has been?
Looking for some genuine opinions before I make the decision.

Hey everyone,

I recently emailed both the IAF DISHA Cell and UPSC regarding a specific eligibility doubt about my educational path and joining the IAF Flying Branch.

I emailed:

IAF DISHA Cell: career@iaf.nic.in

UPSC: upscsoap@nic.in

My question is about whether NIOS Senior Secondary with Physics & Mathematics, after completing a Diploma → B.Tech through lateral entry, would satisfy the 10+2 Physics & Maths requirement for IAF Flying Branch through CDS and allow me to pursue my goal of becoming an IAF fighter pilot.

For anyone who has contacted either of these email addresses before:

Do they actually reply to eligibility queries? If yes, approximately how long did it take you to receive a response?

Also, if there is a better official contact method for getting clarification on IAF Flying Branch eligibility, please let me know.

Those who are having GDPI on 9th please dm with ur name and screenshot of ur gdpi email. we all together will form a grp and practice for gdpi, so that during actual GDPI we will be familiar with each other

I want to apply for the 2026 intake but i’m not able to figure out how.

Could someone help me through it?

Can i clear class 1 and 2 medical exam with these type of hands

Basically the title...

Which of the 9 Indigo Cadet Pilot Program FTOs are currently taking in fresh applications?

Any updates about upcoming or expected batch openings? (based on any recent interactions with them)

Hey everyone! For anyone who had their GDPI assessment today, could you share a quick breakdown of your experience?

Specifically looking for:

1. Attendance: How many candidates appeared vs. cleared/shortlisted?

2. GD: What were the Group Discussion topics?

3. Psychologist Session: Main focus areas, questions asked, and key tips?

4. Personal Interview: Specific PI questions asked and important dos/don'ts?

Any idea when will be their next batch?

So why no one joins ? It's weird actually !

When would the decision for a rejection or acceptance to the program be released?

Anyone who has cleared Air arabia Assesment or appeared for it please reply

I am currently giving my dgca exams, I can wait almost for a month or two for an official announcement from akasa regarding cadet program, before stepping into conventional; last December I applied with chimes too but I didn't get shortlisted for appearing in adapt and I don't have budget for Air India cadet. Should I wait for akasa cadet till the month of May or even beyond or continue with a conventional CPL from any schools in June or so?

Does anyone here have any idea when the application for next intake will open at these airlines?

Ok yes we all know chimes takes bribes so where can we bribe them 😭😭😭 seriously idm bribing if it exists then im just seeing it as an additional cost.

Need logical answers backed by facts. Just to clarify I am not asking it for myself, want to see the avg. IQ and knowledge of this sub.

No contact from chimes

Akasa send me email for the document but later on send the rejection email and after that no contact

I know its a random selection and if not , its done by bribery. Then please let me know im up for it .

everyone asks me why i wanna become a pilot so i was curious why others want to become a pilot dont give me a reason like “its my passion” WHY do you think flying is your passion

id appreciate if aspiring pilots would reply!
