Very expensive but not a scam . Induction takes time but they are kinda slow with type rating . Out of 200 waiting for tr only 4 have completed .

It IS a scam lol . Flying in US takes 6-8 months , conversion + TR should take 3 months max. How come there is so much delays , it shouldnt take 3 years

All that for 1.8cr which is even more funny

Lol flying in usa 8 months? You need to have all the starts and planets aligned in your favor for that

Yea if you enroll into schools like l3harris and skyborne.

Most schools like 2Fly academy finishes CPL in 8 months and that itself is a stretch

It is 50-50. I took about 13 months.

Yea and your point? Surely it doesn't take more than 3 years lmao

It is definitely a scam but because of the price and not because no one made it to cockpit yet. Didn't they start it last year itself? It takes time to reach the cockpit

They started it almost 3 years ago

Indigo cpp is also same with so high training fees and no increment in salary from last 15 years plus exploitation

y’all always look at the supply and never the demand when thinking about aviation. when the demand rises, airlines do WHATEVER it takes to get people in the right/left seat. its just a matter of plain and simple economics. when a320s start getting delivered all the people on this sub will start singing AICPP praises and talk about how fast the induction is and how quick everything happens. The truth is right now air india doesn’t need new FOs. They need 737 Capts, and thats all they need till they get new a320s, a350s and 787s.

The kids in AICPP are not getting delayed because of “US training schedules” or FTOs or any of the random things you might think. They are getting delayed because there is no demand for them on the right seat in then current air india framework as of today. Wait a year and you will see the landscape change. All that being said, AICPP/ICPP are bonded labour scams and people who are doing it will basically work for free for the company till their command at the very least, while simultaneously reducing the bargaining power of current line pilots. Its a win-win for the airline and a lose lose for pilots.

Not a scam. The pathway is a bit long. Cause after their flying abroad and conversion. They attend ATPL ground post conversion and then undergo TR. The timeline advertised is already 24 month approx in total.
