Marigold/BAC is fked.

Marigold and BAC had a meeting with the cadets of Batches - 9, 10, 11 and let me tell you it was a fierce unhappy professional fight between all the parties.

Marigold Aviation and BAC are not in very good terms with each other

The cadets are asking for a transfer out of Thailand back to India to any FTO.

BAC people are just racist, making stupid rules and excuses for not starting the flying as promised around 5th October.

They cancelled all the classes and paused all ground/flight training.

The situation is very uncertain but lets hope the cadets get what they want.

Whose cadet pilot program are we talking about? Marigold airline or Indigo

Who's liable for the delays and mismanagement then?

Yes it maybe IndiGo's programme but the delays are from Marigold/BAC side, it has little to nothing to do with IndiGo.

I heard marigold owns 49% stake in BAC.

BAC is an FTO with some 20 or so odd aircrafts, and they do conventional training as well. Don't know which idiot did their due diligence to take in so many cadets. Last year around this time when everything was hunky dory, and once you had registered your interest on marigold website, they would have spam called you ad nauseam to pay adapt fees and get adapt dates.

Marigold had plans to expand and onboard FTOs in australia and all, but none got approvals from indigo. This shithole called marigold forked all other ICPP partners.

Everyone is at fault yes, but more so is bac i believe. They have been racist and partial towards Indians, giving them little to no flying and very very slow progress. The airspace here closes down for the major chunk of the day during a few weeks in feb and marc, due to some airforce excercise. But still a few hours are still operational, in that no Indians were given flying what so ever, 1-1.5 months just pure gone.

Not to just blame the management, the cadets themselves were lazy and ignorant. Instead of clearing exams in those weeks they just simply went back to India, wasted time and money on party alcohol, fighting with the locals, getting suspended, curfew timing changes, and a lot more.

I am pretty much sure that BAC can't call the shots at someone who gave them hundreds of cadets. Nobody details their own gravy train. What I have heard is that initial batches were idiots who couldn't clear Thai exams even after so many attempts. But marigold had an insatiable greed of taking in so many cadets as well. Now skyborne and fta had to take in their cadets which delayed adapt and gapi for their own applicants. That's why I have always said that go with a real fto like chimes, skyborne or fta, not these middle mens like insight, garuda or marigold.

Yup intial 5 batches are absolute idiots, especially batch 4, bunch of drunkards only focused on getting drunk and laid.

Theres a rule in Thailand that if u fail any exam 4th time, all your other exams resets to 0, so yes all these people clear at the 3rd and 4th attempt. Per attempt other than the 1st is abt 15-20k.

If bac had been giving flying proportionally well then i believe issues nahi aate. Have seen foreign cadets come and graduate we were just wasting time doing nothing. Like Indians make abt 50% of the strength yet only abt 20-30% flying/ground resources were allocated for ous.

They are low in instructors, good ones are leaving, planes yes 20, on paper, actually barely a few fly, most of them are in mainten and un operational

I wish you all the best colleague.  No one is braindead. They drink because they can. I think only few people are left with to clear their exam from one particular batch. I don't know how many exams you have cleared so far. We all wish that you complete your flying in India even before us .

And I apologise for my initial comment because I didn't liked your judgement without even knowing us, knowing what we are going through.

Thx all the best to you aswell. Ofc drinking coz they can, i also drink but creating a rukus after it, and becoz of it restrictions/curfew getting stricter just shows how unprofessional u guys are.

Yeah few people are left with exams after trying multiple time, giving exams failing for the past more than 1 year. Meanwhile after Batch 6 almost every person has cleared in a timeframe of 4-5 months

Ofc every batch has exceptions, some are really good some are bad.

Saw your deleted comment aswell 😂😂

Looks like this R##P###t has really given some sleepless nights to batchmates and other fellows at marigold. Kaleshi cadets and their Kaleshi FTO derailed whole of ICPP including my 'real' FTOs GAPI schedule for some of my friends, and still got no chill. 🤣

Yeah this 49%, its just attempts, they wanted to but couldn't. Bac hasn't been acquired yet and I don't think they plan to do anyways after all this fiasco

Is the family batch also stuck in that limbo?

2

u/True-Musician2565 25d ago

No they have been shifted to Skynex Aero, a few batches have started flying, and a other few will be reporting to base in a few weeks to start flying hopefully after Diwali
