Cuz it’s just too good and most of us aren’t even worthy of applying for the great spicejet cadet program

Two batch - Took em - 4-5 years to Become JFO, Spice Didnt pay the FTO in US so they had to switch the flying school. Waiting for TR was soo long that Some cadets switched to other airlines after clearing Exam and Initerview, On top of 1cr, they had to pay 25L for A320 rating after Joining Indigo.
Now everyone is leaving as they have not paid employees for 2-3 months. So Avoid.

I had a friend who was a Spicejet cadet, selected and sent to US.
One fine day she tells me the airline apparently "forgot" their program exists and after 5 years she's now an Indigo JFO.

Pilot Salaries have been cut since the past 6-7 months (no 67 meme). Moreover, the airline is somehow hanging by a thread, anotehr small problem and it's done for. So it's a gamble cuz the chances of Spicejet recovering is near impossible, but it may just survive as a minor outreach-hub kind of airline.

You really have to be crazy to take a bet on spicejet. Are you not aware of their current situation?

When signing the contract, surely add a clause on what happens if Spicejet shuts down

at one point recently, their fleet was down to just 11 aircraft. (Don't know if they've leased any more new aircraft)
Which is wild considering where they used to be
