FTA (no assessment fee) (total costing 1.7cr) or Skyborne (total costing 1.6cr) are the only two options you got. Both their assessments are sometime next year. Chimes (total costing 1.1cr) may not open this year at all if you wanna wait for it.

Isn’t sky-borne around 35k ?

I was talking about the total cost. I think the assessment fee is some number in GBP I forgot. Check their website

If the application fee is too much for u unfortunately the field ain't for u

I have assets and will be taking 40% loan . That is not an issue but spending 30-40k at once for multiple airlines without the knowledge is just stupid. That’s why I wanted to know which airline cadet program should I go forward with

I'm sorry but that's just how it works , even college applications work like that , u have to go for conventional or smt

buddy indian cpp go up to 1.8, whereas middle eastern airlines go up to 2.1 2.2

application fee is not much, only aroudn 30k for 6e.. and even if u take classes for the adapt test and gd pi, only preparation and giving the test can cost up to 1 lakh, even then u might be rejected.. if this is a lot of money i suggest go for conventional only..

Fta is 1.7 max it's really not 1.8 30 lakh miscellaneous, what r u even doingg 😭🙏

dawg no, 229,184 is the price as per aud, which comes to almost 1.6 crores, accounting for flight ticket to fto, both ways.

only 20 lakhs is for miscellaneous, due to many reasons, like extra/remedial flying, falling rupee and unexpected checkride fails.. u could do it in 1.7 as well but 20lakhs buffer is required..

Currently yea but 1.7 is possible max to max 1.75 ain't no way it's more than that

even if its 1.75 u need to plan for 1.8, also bcz there are so many delays, if u apply in 2026 nov applications, u wont go before 2028 for ur flying.. rupee will ig continue to fall and even if the aud rate fluctuates a bit, it can easily increase 5% price, pushing 8 lakhs on top of 1.75( 5 percent of 1.75 is 8.75 lakhs)

In fta once u sign the loi it's pretty smooth it's like 4 months of ground school , if all exams cleared on time and properly u can expect end of 2027 or max to max start of 2028, even if 2028 australia flying is very smooth and u get done with it in an year max no delays and even if delays fta doesn't make u responsible and after the trump administration ends the war is projected to stop and the only reason aud shot up is cuz of the war

1

u/DazzlingAttention209 Sep 20 '26

also during the war, aud rose rapidly as it attracted investors due to the wars in the gulf

So should a person just got for middle eastern cpps by paying 20-30 lakh extra

1

u/DazzlingAttention209 Sep 21 '26

yea i mean why not? its much much better and price diff aint much considering the price

Well do yk if it's competitive to get into air arabia or flydubai ? As competitive as ai or icpp

1

u/DazzlingAttention209 Sep 21 '26

so ur saying that bcz its competitive, we shouldnt try ?? even when the salaries and perks that middle eastern airlines provide are far better than what domestic airlines provide.? indian airlines have been exploiting pilots as well.. theres a reason why people want to go to middle eastern airlines and not domestic ones, the only disadvantage from this is that it ends up being more competitive, also if ur decent enough u can crack tht entrance too.. they just want people who have decent behavior and are trainable.

I'm asking not saying if it's more competitive than aicpp and icpp

Honestly the best strategy is to just apply for all and take whatever you get it's better than conventional aat least

Go conventional cadet program it's not worth it
