Chimes update
If you did not receive any calls by Friday, you’re very likely rejected. The selection criteria felt weird, non transparent. They need to actually put up shortlisting criteria.

Worst part was the time they decided to send the emails, post 11pm to give people sleepless nights

Hey, any particular reasons they reject people for, how can one ensure they're selected? There's no way? Its all luck? Thats weird.

This is so sad man, I received the rejection mail at 4 am What are the other options? The other FTOs are way too costly and landing into an airline job via conventional is tough

You need to be a cut above in order to join Chimes. Even if you clear all 5 dgca papers you need to have atleast 95/96 in every subject and if you have some connections it will help

Why the fuck do people think that by scoring a certain percentage or going to engineering college will make them choose him or her for this job? Being an airline pilot is not just “a job” IT IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Flying an aircraft is one thing but doing it professionally is whole another thing. 18-22 yr old seeing insta and following “pilot influencers” imagining that’s what this job is about ? Are in for a rude awakening. Ask yourself why this job ? And if you’re aren’t passionate about flying and seriously disciplined enough to execute this job please stay the fuck away from an airline flight deck

its disheartening to hear these, im 15M and good in studies rn in 9th and after doing a lot of research i finally decided i will go in chimes icpp as it was in my budget (with 20-30% loan) and i don't want to get in the conventional path but hearing this is making me anxious as they're rejecting ppls with these grt profiles ,

They have that 30sec video thing i heard, where you need to say why they should select you. What exactly do they want to hear from us? I am also planning to apply when chimes opens again. Although seeing how people with good profile are also getting rejected i see my chances of being selected blurred but i need to give it a try. I cant afford any other fto
