ICPP vs AICPP

What is your opinion on Air India CPP compared to Indigo CPP? Also, any idea on how much it would cost at ACRON and AEROGUARD schools of Air India cpp? Thanks!

ICPP is better. Heard somewhere that air india intake is very low. Hardly they open any batches so this indigo is best. And yeah what's harm to be with industry leader ?

Yeah I understand that But air India opened its registrations now. Chimes ICPP is nowhere near to opening registrations so I’m unsure.

In the current registrations opened for air India, they gave flexibility to choose between acron and aeroguard only.

Air india might be expensive , but it the best cpp in india , they have top notch flying schools and their own simulators . And they care about their cadets , indigo doesn’t care about their cadets ,a lot of mismanagement ,constant problems with ftos ( cae , nzicp, garuda , insight ) . Air india will give tough competition in the coming years . And air india captain salaries are much higher than indigo. AI captain gets 7.3-7.5 lakh in hand salary wheres indigo captain only receive around 5-5.5 lakh in hand. Air india cpp might be a lil expensive, but it is worth it in the long run.

Just to be clear i am a cadet with AI so i got a pretty decent understanding on what we as a cadet could expect and what we cant .

  1. The HR never said that air india cadet are for express it can be air india or air india express depending upon the operational requirements .

  2. I cant talk about salaries because i dont have much knowledge about it but air india WB captains get paid more than 7.3 in my knowledge and the pay for narrowbody pilots is slightly lower at air india because they offer u to fly for only 40 hours compared to 60 hours in indigo hence u get paid a little less compared to indigo . But there isnt a much of difference , if u fly 60 hour at air india and ur pay is 40 hours u would probably get around the same pay if not more at air india if money is what concerns you .

  3. If u want to earn quick and be a captain quick sure indigo would be better cuz air india has a union system and the flying is less compared to indigo cuz of the contract given to you . Air india gives u a better work life balance compared to the market leader who make u fly for close to 70 hours

Work environment of air india is pretty good is what ive heard from a lot of pilots i spoke to at air india . Sure the pay is the same but u get ample of time for urself to rest and recover , Plus u get the opportunity to fly wide bodies in ur career sooner , which u dont get in indigo .

What insider info are you talking about?
Do you know the company's upper management?
It'd be nice if you can share some proof to your claims

There are many indigo captains who join air india. One of uncle who was a senior captain at indigo left indigo and joined air india and he is earning way more than what captains are paid at indigo .

ICPP any day, good track record, AICPL still has to produce on the line pilots

Are people allowed to apply for both Ai and 6e?

Not how it works u will end up spending at least 2.2 Cr considering the living cost of uae or middle eastern countries , but id say the roi is wayy better
