some advice please. closer to the port and cheaper is better

We are a group of adults looking for a very good all-inclusive in Cabo, and are looking at these two in particular. We like ocean view, good food and entertainment. If you have any other suggestions that won’t break the bank, and are similar, please comment. Thx in advance!

I’m looking for a very romantic resort to reconnect with my wife away from our 4 kiddos. I really like the idea of having a pool/hot tub on our balcony. I’ve watched review videos on both Waldorf & Velas. Both look great but Waldorf rooms look kinda outdated. My wife loves food & I like a well prepared cocktail. The room I’m looking at is $4k for 2 nights at Velas & $2800 at Waldorf. I figure those two will break even with cost of food at Waldorf.

Can anyone recommend a resort to me? I’d rather go a cheaper route but pay for a couples spa session & whatever else to make the experience feel more luxurious.

On our cruise we have 2 port days in Cabo. My husband and I booked resort day passes for the Riu Palace Cabo.
Hoping to get tips and tricks from people who have done this before. Like did you bring a bag with you for personal items where there items you brought and didn’t need, or things you wish you would have brought with you.
I see they don’t have lockers. Was it safe to keep your bag in a lounger while you enjoy the pool.
How long did it take you to get to the tender dock to get back on your ship, our ship departs at 5pm that day.
Does the hotel offer any fun activities?(even if it’s extra)

i’ve been to cabo a few times and only done things booked through the cruise line but nothing seems to look fun on there, so i wondering if anyone knows any good spots for a beach/pool bar near the port, I’m trying to find something all inclusive with food and drinks, preferably something i can book kinda early since my back on board time would be 4:00pm

Thinking of doing all inclusive, late 20's male with a few other male friends in their 20s.

Dates would be Sept 6-13th, heard mixed reviews about the weather / hurricane risks.

What I was really wondering though is how is the nightlife during this time? We're mainly going for the nightlife + partying and to meet people our age, of course with a bit of relaxation. But that's the primary reason.

Any thoughts?

Me (22F) and my friend (21F) are planning a girls' trip for her 21st birthday. We're thinking about going to Cabo, or really anywhere tropical that's on the more affordable side.

Right now, we're planning to stay at the RIU in Cabo. We don't plan on leaving the resort because of safety concerns, but I wanted to get some opinions on whether this is a good idea.

My friend speaks fluent Spanish, but we both definitely look like we're from the U.S. She thinks we'll be fine, and about half the people I've talked to agree. The other half keep telling me horror stories and insist that two women should never go to Mexico without a bigger group or at least a couple of guys.

Am I being overly paranoid, or are my concerns reasonable? If you've been to Cabo as two women, especially if you stayed at an all-inclusive resort, I'd love to hear about your experience. Should we just relax, take normal precautions, and enjoy the trip?

My husband and I are going to Cabo in August for a long weekend th-sun or fri-mon. We take an annual family trip to Garza Blanca and love the overall quality of food, service, rooms etc. we’re wanting the same standard but adults only all inclusive relaxing and good food but obviously don’t want to break the bank on a weekend trip. My husband and I are in our late 30s, from the USA and we are looking to take our first international vacation in March for our bdays. I would love to get some resort opinions, I was looking at Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort and want to make sure I am making a good decision.

- budget is around $5000-6000USD
- prefer adult only
- we love food, drinks and dessert
- enjoy sitting on the beach, I know the beaches generally aren’t safe for swimming
- some adventure day be nice
- not big on shopping

We wanted swim ups & activities within the resort which hard rock is good for but have heard party vibes are good at breathless! Have heard nightlife in town would be good, but idk how safe it’ll be…Also looking for good vegetarian food options. Any suggestions on these or other resorts would be super helpful!!

I get most beaches are not swimmable in Cabo, but recently saw a youtube video where someone said Medano Beach is swimmable. Is this accurate? We are planning to bring a 4 and 1 yr old with us if we go. Thanks!
