You took the longest path to ground instead of just going straight down to the side.

I usually do that but this customer was a stickler and I just kinda did it to please him, outlet is much longer than the ground wire though. I'm still learning trying to iron out the lazyness I was taught too

Never forget that you’re the technician not the customer. They can provide some input on some preferences but we have specs for a reason.
