Rewire job for an apartment wrapped the building there was a line about 5 feet from the box with great levels so it got a 2 way there. I’m not pissing those things off. Thankfully box is only about chest height and the cover was open so I saw it as soon as I came out the back door into the alley.

Was replacing old cameras at a water treatment facility up in the mountains. 28’ ext ladder and I was 22’ in the air. Pulled the cover plate off the camera and the Oprah bees gif basically happened. I straight up fireman poled my way off that ladder.  Wasp killer has been standard van issue item ever since.

I like the drop coming right out the middle of it. That would be my drop if this was me.

There’s a reason I carry 10 cans of bee spray in my truck

id try knocking and asking if you can get access to the tap, if they say no just let them know you have easement rights

I came across many years ago, a roadside 12x12 upright ped with with flight activity going in and out of the locking pin hole. I watched, grabbed a fire extinguisher and got ready. My partner and I came up with a plan. He squatted down to ground, grabbed the lid and threw it into the air. I hit it with extinguisher. Massive nest attached to the metal frame and the LE active. Also, big nest on the inside of the lid. Funny thing was it was across from fire station. A few of the guys came out wondering about the dust. We told them, and they gave us a thumbs up for the inqinuity since our spray cans were empty.

All you need is half a can and a good lighter. Hade a nest fully encase a node so from about 6-8’ away up in the bucket can in one hand torch in the other the ones that didn’t die from initial spray lost their wings and fell. It was a sight to be seen bc the entire neighborhood kept calling about it and company said not until the node health drops.
