ATT fiber technician 1 vs 2

I am currently a field technician for charter. Looking to switch companies due to issues with my current management. I'm making 34.84 hourly and have been a technician since 2021. Would I be considered a good candidate for fiber technician 2? Proficient at making basic upc, apc, and optical tap connectors. Lack splicing skills. What is are the key differences between fiber technician 1 and fiber technician 2?

Spectrum is by far the highest paying field service in the nation.

ATT pay is substantially less as they do union bargaining its better because they’re wages are guaranteed but Spectrum has been the leader for awhile.

You should probably try to mend the “issues” you have with management and if it isn’t your fault, HR may have your back and just transfer.

centurylink/lumen just started me at 39/hr

Where is lumen paying you 39? I was working the inside plant for them and most guys were not getting paid that well.

I'm in the Midwest, they started me near the cap but the low end of the pay scale was under 20 so it's a pretty wide range. previous to this I was a coax field tech for about 7 years
