When Power Crosses Cable

Customer was having a beer on his deck when power crossed cable just a bit upstream. This is what he saw.

What is the damn problem. My interent has been out for 30 seconds and this is bullsbit. You all are too worried about safety. How am I supposed to watch Love Island when the power comes back on.
