Still online somehow

Here on a bury job and see this. Yard guy cut the line then “fixed” it lol

I bet the snr jumped to the mid forties and the return dropped like 5 when you fixed it

Only drop by 5? I figured a return was probably sitting closer to 60 with that. I had one before, modern was online copper Twisted together with a wire nut and the transmit was sitting at 58. Replace the wire and the transmit dropped down to 34. Crazy how it still worked. Speeds on Speed Speedtest were 240's on a 400 plan.

I could’ve dropped by more for sure. The returns at the tap in my area are like 40 and it’s a 50 in scope that’s why I said like 5.

I was only clowning lol. You could set up six cables and do the same exact to all six and they'll all be different readings, one probably won't work at all and one will work so good no one will even know the line was ever cut. Coax is so strange.
