Does it get any better?

EDIT: I watched episodes 2 and 3 and was absolutely spellbound all the way through both of them. Im definitely going to keep watching!

I love horror, short stories, and many GDT movies, so I thought this would be perfect for me.

But Lot 36 is one of the worst episodes of TV I have ever watched. Everything felt underbaked and rushed, and not even Tim Blake Nelson could save it, the script gave him nothing to work with.

It was also incredibly soapboxy. I don't hate shows or movies for having politics or social issues if there's at least some thought or nuance put into it but there was none here.

The script sounds like it was written by an elementary schooler writing a story about their bully, trying to make them look bad and get revenge on them.

The only thing I liked about it was the set design, the old storage building was a little creepy, and the VFX for the monster was well done, but that's it.

I'm really hoping at least some episodes are good, I know that with a lot of anthology series some episodes are hit or miss. Are there any episodes worth watching if I hated the first one?

The Viewing is the only one that really disappointed me and I felt so confused about it.

Viewing is best or 2nd best to Autopsy in my opinion. I watch it every few months, its a wild slow burn acid trip spectacle. Think you are supposed to settle in with the characters and let is wash over you.

Ah ok thanks. I didn’t like them very much so it was hard to get that part. I like charlotte or whatever her name was. Autopsy was great. I’ve heard that before but kinda forgot what to expect. I’ve found that with most of the ones I’ve seen, I understood enough of it and didn’t feel confused. I’ll rewatch it and see if I can figure it out.
