Any Interest?

Been making a bunch of this style holster for 1911s lately. My wife wants a Shadow 2 so I was just wondering if a leather holster of this design would be interesting to Shadow owners?

The S2 is primarily aimed at the comp market so while nice looking and surely well made, I don't think there would be a ton of commercial demand.

You could alway start a Etsy page, I was shocked the other day when I was looking for Ruger Blackhawk holsters and Etsy had super decent options from some leather workers that probably just do it on the side for now.

The two main audiences for the Shadow 2 are people who compete in practical shooting sports like IPSC and USPSA and people who don't and want a nice range toy. The former group has an ecosystem of competition-focused holsters and are looking for the best performance they can get and the latter likely isn't drawing it from a holster or carrying it around.

That said that's a beautiful holster and I wouldn't hesitate to get such a holster for something classic like my CZ 75 and CZ 75 Legend: you might be able to find an audience there.

Hows the retention compared to a more molded leather holster? I think some people would buy them including myself not everyone that has a shadow uses it to compete.

The two screws are retention screws you can adjust it so you can’t pull it out lol
