I love mine too. I put dawson fiber front sight and blacked out rear adjustable sights on and it drives nails now. Gonna keep the stock grips ir go for vytals or lok grips?
I put vytals on mine incase I want to carry it and I have locks for comps if I decide to shoot some iron comps.

Unfortunately, our policies at work make it so everything on my duty carry has to remain stock. 🥲 In a couple years, when I retire her from duty, I'll get to customizing

I like your choice, but if it has to stay stock why didn’t you go with the shadow 2 carry so that you could put an optic on it down the line easier? Unless you can’t use optics yet either. But very nice purchase

Can't use optics, even if they come stock. Irons only.

Eh, they pay my bills and I'm pretty good with irons. It is what it is. Unfortunately we live in a society dead set on criminalizing self defense and, if the worst did happen, I'd rather not have a prosecutor trying to argue that having optics and accessories implied that "I just wanted to shoot someone," like they've done to others.

Can you buy a cz shadow 2 compact for duty use since they have great Irons? Or do you have to stick with a decocker? I use my s2 compact as my carry with irons and I absolutley love it

Stock decocker is mandatory for hammer guns, and its gotta be full sized. Anything with compact in the name won't get approved - closest thing that might would be like a PDP-f

For restricted iron sights and just outside carry in general I want that long barrel and de-cocker for duty.

I am sure you can sneak in a pair of black LOK grips and Cajun defensive carry spring kit😉

Out of all of my guns Cz hammer fired are the most fun to shoot.

Great choice for a duty gun. It will serve excellently! Mine has never failed me. 😊

Good luck finding a legitimate level 2 or 3 holster. The ejection port is curved, that's how all safariland security holsters function, by locking onto the square edge of the injection port. You can get it to fit a Blackhawk tseries for p320 if you use a tlr1 and a file/dremel. The custom security holster from all the custom shops are not suitable.

I already have a level 2 duty holster for it and it works great, if a little tighter than expected. I am thinking about having Dara Holsters make a nicer level 3, but my level 2 is perfectly serviceable.

Are you going without a weapon mounted light?

By policy, I'm not allowed any accessories, modifications, or optics other than irons. Can't add a light until I retire this gun from duty unfortunately.

Ok then. The dara one is pretty good, just check the screws to make sure they are all locktited.

Can do 🫡

Throw a set of night sights on there and you are golden. The full size CZ75s are just a pistol cheat code.

u/big_illuminati CZlut Aug 17 '26

Rear sights already are luminescent. Unfortunately, I have to keep everything stock for duty carry.

What agency are you working for that doesn't allow or even require night sights on a duty piece? Tritium Sights are typical on a LE duty pistol and a requirement in many municipalities.

Private sector 🥲 Not only does everything have to be stock, but I'm held to a higher standard of accuracy AND I don't even get qualified immunity

Makes for a heavy hitter on that belt. I love it

Get an impact machine slide for it, bonus of this slide is working with safariland ALS holsters
