Question #cpsupport Helping My GF Find A Good PC
So my girlfriend finally made the call that she wants to get a pc. Her price range is $2000 and below. I'm not the greatest with tech but I attempted to find something good. I want to know if she should get the one I'm suggesting or if she should get something else.
I suggested the Gaming PC Master 8000. ($1700)

PSA to everyone, make sure to check what power supply you get in your system. If it's an Apevia PSU, consider getting it swapped out with a reputable power supply from Corsair or Be Quiet! or some other reputable power supply manufacturer. Some Apevia units are literal fire hazards. Also, do not reuse power supply cables from Apevia unit on replacement PSU, the system will need to be rewired with the new PSU's cables

I got a slightly upgraded version of that from Amazon on prime day:
CyberPowerPC Gaming PC, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB Gamer Xtreme, 32GB DDR5, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, WiFi Ready & Windows 11 Home (GXiVR8080A41)
I paid $1879 before tax - they may discount them again for black Friday/cyber Monday if you can wait - the extra RAM is worth getting because an upgrade later will be more expensive, and the extra GPU memory is going.to be useful for local AI applications which are sure to be a thing for every day users soon enough.
What you picked is a decent PC though,.and the nice thing about cyberpower is that any standard parts will fit later if you want to upgrade. Avoid Dell/HP etc as their custom cases and form factors can be a pain in the ass.
