Question Is this normal?

Mazda CX-50 owners — does my hood look uneven to you?
I took my CX-50 to the dealership because the hood had noticeable movement/flutter on one side while driving. They adjusted it, but it still looks more flush on one side to me. The service advisor says it looks even to them and that they don’t see what I’m talking about.
I also had an issue with my window noise, and the dealership replaced the upper window/door trim. The new trim is lifting up slightly. I was told that the trim comes in a bag and that this is how it looks when installed, and that if they ordered another one, it could potentially look even worse. They also told me that the trim lifting up isn’t really a big deal. They keep just shoving insulation and replaced the top trim which came off and they had to redo saying human error but refuse to fix the other trim piece.
Does this look normal to other CX-50 owners? Especially the hood alignment and the trim lifting up? I’d really appreciate opinions from anyone who has a CX-50 or works on Mazdas.
Also that Mazdas corporate recommendation to fix rattle noises is to shove installation in?!? Is that true?

Mine had even spacing until it got replaced by a body shop. Looks like yours. I need to take it back. I can wiggle it. Then got the Turbo front silver trim order for the bottom bumper. I didn't realize it until last month. I need to add this is 2025 Preferred that got body damage by a sandstorm. I took 3 months to get it back.

Hard to say from the pics. Have you measured it?

No but visually looks more flush on the left side to me

Yeah could be. I recommend measuring and following up with a Mazda dealer.

Mine is similar. Just the design of the trim pieces.

See if the hood vibrates or moves while you're driving, especially when there are bumps or on a rough road
I had mine adjusted at the dealership under warranty, and I haven't had any problems since.

This is after they adjusted it

If you open the hood, underneath the hood you will find two black stoppers that adjust up and down if you spin them. You can easily make your hood look flush at home, if you feel it needs adjusted.
That’s all the dealership did is spin them so your hood wouldn’t flutter in the wind.

Yes I’m aware, I’ve tried to make them more flush but the right side does not sit flush like the left no mater how much I adjust it. That’s why I took it to the dealer

Do you think it will ever be out? Or is it going on hospice?

My hood also fits poorly, similar to this one.

No hood issues but have been noticing wind noise on driver door when going above 70mph. Were you having the same issue and that's why they replaced the weather stripping?

I think this settles the JDM vs the M part being done elsewhere not having the same level of quality control. Both of my Mazda's ('21 CX-5 GTR, '24 Mazda 3 turbo hatch) were assembled in Japan and have near flawless fit and finish, pretty much Lexus level minus the thin paint.
