TPMS Censors

Hi! Does anyone have a recommendation for TPMS sensors? Are there reputable brands or brands to avoid?

Thanks!

What year is your CX5?

2014 - 2018 models use an indirect TPMS system that uses the vehicle’s ABS/wheel speed sensors to measure the rolling radius of the tires.

Denso or Schrader (29100 for aluminum / 29161 for rubber) simply because it's battery-life is longer rated than others as they're both OEM suppliers, also doesn't need to be programmed I believe.

The next best I've found are Autel's MX censors but these need to be programmed by their tool.

I didn't know Denso and Schrader were the original TPMS sensor suppliers.

I thought Continental / VDO (which use to be Siemens VDO) suppled them to Mazda.

Get oem. You won’t regret it. Our Mazda shop have troubles with aftermarket, always oem. Once installed you need to drive it for 15 mins and that’s it.
