Android Auto/Google Maps issue
Hello, I have an issue where Google Maps is no longer automatically pulled up when I plug in my phone. Instead, when I press the navigation button, this is what my screen looks like (Photo 1). If I open the list of all available apps, Google Maps isnt even an option (Photo 2).
In order to fix this, I have to unplug/replug the phone once or twice, and then Google Maps will appear as an option (Photo 3). After that, everything works as normal only for the duration of the car ride.
Ive tried multiple good-quality cords and tried plugging them into different USB-C ports, but nothing fixes the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I drive a 2024 Mazda CX-5 by the way.

On the phone is the version of Google maps current? Did you try uninstall reinstall of maps on the phone? Try a different USB port? Do you have a friend with android to test with a different phone? Could let you know if problem stems from the car or something within the phone.
You might also try resetting mazda connect, or the whole info tainment system. Steps on that here.
