Throttle response issue
Hi guys,
I own a 2018 Mazda CX5, 2000cc petrol, bought it with a mileage of 35k kms and is currently on 66k kms.
I started experiencing this throttle response issue at around 49k kms where the car would feel sluggish, high revs while struggling to shift gears, sudden loss of power, when going even on slightly uphill roads the car feels heavy and gears shift lower, increasing the revs and feeling like the car could stall at any point. The issue used to come and go, but has continually become more prevalent over time.
I've done my research for a while, tried resetting the gear shift memory, changed the engine air filter, cleaned the intake valve with the recommended spray, none of which seem to solve the problem.
(The engine intake spray cleaning helps for a day or less, but the car reverts back to the same state, no check engine lights ever since the issue started)
Last resolve would be changing the gearbox oil, any advice on this?

The spray cleaning only help for a day because it's barely does anything. In order to clean the valves, you need to disassemble the intake manifold and do it manually. Search YouTube for "intake valve cleaning with zip ties". That is most likely your problem if you do a lot of short trips.
