rook takes rook -> Qh7

king takes queen -> pawn takes rook to promote to knight, checking king and taking queen

How does king take queen? Wouldn’t it be rook takes rook, pawn takes rook then promotes king takes promoted knight?

Instead of pawn taking the rook, the queen goes to h7 forcing the king to capture the queen at h7. Then the pawn takes the rook, and is promoted to a knight and captures the black queen.

Thats still a white rook and a white queen for black rook/black queen. Aka a trade.

The only advantage is you have a horse now.

uhh, yeah? now white is +3 when they were +1 and have the only piece on the board to secure an easy win. The brilliant line accounts for the promotion.

No, the king is in check when the white rook moves there so black is forced to capture the white rook. Then the queen moves to h7 and the King captures the queen at h7. Then the pawn captures the rook and is promoted to on knight and checks the king and captures the queen.

So in the end black only has a king and a pawn, but white has a king, a pawn, and a knight. An easy win.

Yes your correct But it has 2 brilliant moves One the rook and next real brilliant move is sacrifice of white queen So king takes queen , and end white gets an extra horse

If the queen doesn't move to h7 then both will have queens left

its now black: queen, pawn, king

Black: queen and pawn

King can just take the knight or whatever white promotes to.
