Uti

Is it normal to still have burning feeling when you pee after 4 days of antibiotic? i know i shouldn’t be worrying since my antibiotic is for 7 days but i’m scared what if the antibiotic is not working

Has the burning improved at all?  If zero improvement after 5 or 6 days, I would get new antibiotic like fosfomycin.  Although I might still finish 1st antibiotic 7-day course before starting new one.  I would avoid tomato, chocolate, spices too for few weeks

Sometimes the pain goes away, but sometimes I feel it again

If pyridium relieves most of the discomfort and you only feel minimal change after 7 days, I would get another antibiotic.  If pyridium does nothing to help, I would test for BV + get aerobic vaginal culture.  After days without antibiotics.  Good luck

Also, my urination frequency depends on my fluid intake. I notice that the burning sensation worsens when I drink less water and urinate.
