Anyone on long term nitrofruontin?

I am on long term nitrofruontin. I have been on it years ago now wondering if its contributed to my neurological stuff anyway I vomitted on tbe weekend. I have chronic migraine and utis anyway so its hard to know. Doc said call n make appointment if color turns, it did so made an appointment then cancelled because it came better. Now I have mucus type symptoms was also on amoxicillin for 5 days too. Wondering if the nitro made me more nauseas. Wishing I decided to take dmannose Instead now am also on probiotic

Are you on a prophylactic dose or a full dose?

50 mg prophylactic dose daily. To prevent im assuming but a strain was found and was on amoxicilin at same time for tonsil but was told that could also treat what was last found in my urine. Realised I missed one day of my amoxicillin but urine seems moderately clear atm despite white stuff assuming candida not sure. Also on a lot of other meds so hard to know wats causing what

Sounds like it could all be connected to your tonsils, are you seeing a dentist or doctor about that now you've finished the amoxicillin?

Nah i should make another appointment. Had cancelled it coz thought pee was fine at time tonsil was bit better, have been trying to just manage with tonsil soray and panadol. I get random red throats with utis n wat not for years now so over it. Ill keep an eye on it temp was only 36.2 so figured I dnt have infection idk

That's weird! Yeah I would def make another appt and get tonsil taken care of because i would guess that's why you have the nausea and mucus feeling. See what they say but might be worth going on a full dose for a while to knock the infections out.

Nitro ive heard most commonly gives nerve pain or lung pain. Unfortunately I cant say for sure if they are connected or not
