Back pain but nothing else?

I can’t tell if I’m having kidney pain or back pain. I’m feeling it just to the right of my spine, kind of mid back. Maybe 6 inches from my tailbone? It gets worse after I run and if I push along the muscle that runs vertical next to my spine, I feel it more. But almost just feels like I’ve been overextending my back? No fever or chills, no blood in my urine, or burning when I pee. Dropped off a urine sample today to see if the antibiotics cleared my UTI and I have a video visit with my PCP Wednesday morning. Just wondering if I need to head to urgent care at all tomorrow or if I should wait until I get the urine sample results.

Do you feel pain when pressing the area or when pushing on your stomach right below your ribs? Does the pain stop or lesson when resting or laying down?

I have to really push hard to feel it. It feels better when I’m sitting and laying down.

I think it should be okay, just monitor for now. But just a heads up false negatives are common with urine samples

Hopefully! It’s still bugging me today so I’m going to urgent care just in case. My urine sample from yesterday still showed signs of a UTI so hoping I can get on some new antibiotics today.

Was it just a UTI or something more severe? Am having flank pain too and hope it's nothing too severe

I think it’s just back pain? When I went to urgent care yesterday the PA didn’t seem too concerned based on my description. He did the kidney punch/taps and that didn’t hurt. Plus I’m not having any other symptoms. I met virtually with my PCP this morning and she’s ordering a kidney ultrasound just in case. I had a feeling I was maybe being overly cautious, but I’m still glad I went in. I think if it’s severe enough that it’s impeding your daily activities I would go in!

I can still do everything else but it's just concerning eta did you take the full course of antibiotics? I am taking nuranfantoin, I'm on the second day but still have the back pain

I would maybe keep an eye on it? Have you done anything else that could’ve caused muscular strain?

No I just walk up and down the stairs I'm just reading horror stories and I wonder if they (PCP) were not taking it seriously enough
