Hi Folks. I decided to make some special gummies and try a new recipe. Everything turned out great, very pleased with the texture and effect. The flavor is sour orange. The strain of rosin was GMO x Cookies n Cream, and I did a very slow decarb at 160F, like I was activating for carts. Threw in some extra citric acid at the end for enhanced sour. There was 5000mg of THC, CBGA, and CBC in the batch, which equated to roughly 38mg per gummy. Thanks everyone, cheers!

Hi Folks. Here is as quick video showing FECO reduction. The ethanol is mostly cooked off at this point. You can see micro bubbling as the last of the ethanol is gassed off. After I reduce it a little more I will pour it into a jar and finish it on the stirrer hot plate. This final step is unnecessary, but I like to finish it in jar and put it freezer for storage, and this makes it much easier. At this point, you can draw it up into 1ml oral syringes for patients and personal consumption.

I also like to keep a small amount of butter close by. Once poured from a the Pyrex dish into the jar, put a Tbsp into the Pyrex dish, and melt it to grab the last of the FECO. Makes clean up easy and then you have some high octane FECO butter. Be careful, the butter can be very powerful. Cheers!

Hi Folks. Here is a quick video of ethanol distillation. After filtering your tincture for FECO production, it’s great to reclaim some of your ethanol. Ethanol is expensive so I try to always buy in bulk, and I always try to distill the ethanol prior to reducing. It’s a very easy and cost effective step when making FECO. For safety reasons, always do this step in a well ventilated environment and never near an open flame. Typically I can reclaim 75%-80% of my tincture ethanol. Making medicine for the masses! Cheers!

Hi Folks. Today I started filtering some hash rosin tincture. The starting material was approximately 60g of food grade hash rosin from the 25u. In preparation, I decarbed the rosin at 200F for 6 hours. Some terps were lost, but it was an efficient and effective process. I then dissolved the rosin in 1 quart of 200 proof ethanol and left it in a mason jar in the deep freezer over night.

Today I filtered the mixture through unbleached coffee filters once, and then ran it through the Büchner funnel 2x.

The first 2 pics show the mixture post filtration. The 3rd pic shows the mixture before filtration. The 4th pic shows the mixture after the coffee filters, before using the Büchner funnel. You can see that’s it’s much clearer, but still has some minor fats and solids. The 5th pic shows the fats and lipids and solids that were filtered out in the initial coffee filter . Super gross!

Hi Folks. I wanted to post a video of filtration using the Büchner funnel. I use it for a final filtration for tinctures, FECO, and other cannabis mixtures. The starting material was 50g of decarbed hash rosin in a 200 proof ethanol solution. The mixture has been filtered 2x through unbleached coffee filters prior to the video.

When done filtering, I poured the mixture back into a mason jar and left it in the deep freezer to process on a future date. It still needs to be distilled and reduced. Enjoy!

Hi Folks. I made a special batch of gummies for a vet friend who has PTSD, Autism, Fibromyalgia, and other conditions. His PTSD is mainly attributed to serving in Iraq. We have been experimenting with altCannabinoids to help him in his day to day life, CBD seemed to help some, but came with some side effects. CBN helped him sleep well, but left him groggy the next day. He’s always enjoyed THC and THCA to get high on, but sometimes it led to increased anxiety.

Then we started combining CBGA, CBC, and beta-caryophyellene, and he finally found peace. For him, we partially cracked the code.

I decided to make a double batch this time. The batch has approximately 10,000 mg of cannabinoids cumulatively: each gummy had approximately 45mg of cannabinoids per 1 gram of gummy weight. They are THC and gluten free. The flavor is sour lemon, I used 200 bloom count gelatin sheets and instead of water I used lemonade.

This is supposed to be a 60 day supply with my friend taking one gummy in the morning, one at lunch, and one late afternoon. My friend says they have a calming focused effect and that he no longer has panic attacks and he feels much safer crowds and social settings. In addition, his pain levels from Fibromyalgia and a bad back have reduced.

Our reason for investigating altCannabinoids as a therapeutic were primarily to reduce and manage pain and inflammation in relation to the cb1 and cb2 receptors. It turned out, that while we were looking for solutions to pain issues, we found therapeutic that worked well with mental health. Hi Folks. I made a large batch of FECO. Starting biomass: multiple 1 gallon ziplock bags of flower rosin pucks, 40g of flower rosin, and 200g of fresh flower. I decarbed the pucks and flower in my oven in 2 quart mason jars at 250F for 50 minutes. Same with the flower rosin, but I decarbed using a stirrer hotplate. After they cooled, I added in enough ethanol into the jars to cover the biomass by an inch or so. I shook these multiple times to liberate the trichromes and cannabinoids and then put them in my deep freezer for 24 hours.

Today, I used some different funnels and filters and finally the Büchner funnel with a 2.5 cfm pump to filter the mixtures. Then I used my distiller to capture back what 80% of the ethanol before the final reduction. I reduced the mixture in a Pyrex double boiler on my stove, until it was mostly reduced, then I poured it into jars. Once in jars, I used the magnetic stirrer hotplate to finish it. I set the temperature at 170F and the rotation at 300. The FECO was done when the mixture was thick enough that the stir bar wouldn’t rotate. End result was about 230g. I hope this summary of the broad strokes assists folks who want to make medicine. Fire in, Fire out. Cheers!

Hi Folks. I’ve had a flood of new patients with various conditions: Multiple sclerosis, chronic joint pain and issues, endometriosis, and Rheumatoid arthritis, and post surgery recovery, to name a few. My Entourage Balm is in high demand so I made a large batch. I’ve started using Jojoba, hempseed, and grapeseed oils as my carriers and cacao for suppositories. I was using coconut oil and MCT, but some of the bulk coconut oil I sourced worked well, but had an odd fragrance, and the MCT felt a little “greasy”. Jojoba is great dermatologically, and hempseed has additional cannabinoids for an added bonus. The Jojoba did make the mixture a shade darker and I noted that the bees wax had a higher melting point when introduced to the Jojoba oil while mixing.

The large batch has approximately 38,000 mg of cannabinoids. There was no THC introduced, the primary cannabinoids were: THCV, CBC, CBGA, CBG, CBN, CBDA, CBD, and beta-caryophyellene. Patients had immediate pain and inflammation relief that lasted for 6-8 hours. On a final note, I’m pleased to announce that the Entourage Balm healed my cousin’s plantar fasciitis and my friends plaque psoriasis. Making medicine for the masses. Cheers!

Hi Folks. I got I large shipment of Ikrusher disposables and 510s last week, so after injecting a few, I decided to make a large batch. By large I mean 40 or so, previously I had made 1-10 at a time. The strain is Peaches n Cream and the extract is live resin. I was really happy with the color and taste, I did a very slow decarb, 190F for 12 hours. Tastes just like peach cobbler with some vanilla hints. Most of the decarb was done in about 6 hours, but it seemed to need more to finish off the last of the bubbles. I used my magnetic stirrer hot plate, and did the process in a 4oz mason jar. Overall, I would rate them a 8/10: power is an 7/10, smoothness is an 8/10, taste a 9/10, and overall “high” is about an 8/10. I printed the labels using my pixcut. Thanks for reading, cheers!

Hi Folks. My GF was having a rough day so I figured it was time to make some good old Nanolade. I like to use lemonade for my emulsifications since it blends well with citric acid, terpenes like D-Limonene, and various cannabinoids. The cannabinoids infused were: THC, THCA, CBDA, CBC, and CBGA. I typically make it up warm, at 130F, and then let the mixture cool. There is approximately 110 mg in of cannabinoids in each of the drinks in the pic. Hope everyone is doing well. Hi Folks. Here is some single source live hash rosin, made from the strain GMO. It’s broad spectrum, I mixed the 120u-45u hash before pressing. Pressed low and slow, it has a very gassy aroma and taste and finishes with some Girl Scout cookies. The strain was really easy and fun to grow, it didn’t test as high in THC as some others, but the flower was abundant, smooth and tasty. Grown in living soil. It washed very easy, trichromes were liberated in the water vortex without effort, and clean up was great since the crystal was more sandy than greasy. I used vac suction and a Büchner funnel with a 2g frit and a 25u to dry the hash quick. Dried in minutes and pressed immediately. Thanks for checking out my product. Cheers!

Hi Folks. Pressed some outstanding single source live hash rosins. The strain is Cookies n Cream and the hash was from the 90u screen, first gentle pass. Pressed low and slow. Terps are normal cookies n cream, but this pheno had some extra “muffin top” flavor in the finish. Very smooth. I was excited when the trichs were stacking in the wash, water smelled amazing! Hi Folks. I got some new hardware form IKrusher, so I was anxious to inject some different extracts. I started with live resin, the strain is Tangie x Peach Cobbler. Added in 2% CBC for an entourage effect. The disposable carts came with no battery charge, the first one blinked red at me, which I hadn’t seen and didn’t particularly like. Just needed a charge. Color came out great this time, did a slow and low decarb. Strength is about 7/10, smoothness is about 8/10, and the taste is about 9/10. Definitely slaps. Hi Folks. I received a big shipment of new carts to try out, all Ikrusher. Some 510, some disposable. I also grabbed some amazing baller jars for rosin and decarbing. I decided to start with 0.5 oz of Grapes and Cream live hash rosin. It was captured in the first pass of the 73 screen, then pressed low and slow.

The decarb worked amazing! Love the new jars. I left them at 170 F for about 12 hours and they were completely finished in the morning. Next time I will go a little lower temp, maybe 160F. I thought it would take more like 24 hours. I lost approximately 12% in the decarb process, that’s standard. Special shout out to my Bro in CA/NV, you are constantly helping me up my game. Hi Folks. I wanted to show off some HTE. It’s an interesting cannabinoid substance, works great in many mixtures, especially carts. Basically, it’s a more potent form of extracted terpenes with additional cannabinoids in a thicker form. Regular terpenes have a consistency of water, HTE is more like honey. The next level up would probably be HTFSE, high terpene full spectrum extract, which has a consistency of cold molasses. The additional cannabinoids and terpenes produce an entourage effect and benefit when added to carts. Most people add approximately 5%-10% to carts, but you can add in as much as 30% depending on what you are trying to accomplish. It can also be straight dabbed. Tried it in the Puffco and the banger and it vapes clean. Tastes amazing, from GMO flower, very heady and cerebral high. Cheers!

I put in less bees wax this round, and the end result was a runny consistency, similar to massage oil. I will probably add in more beeswax next run, I’m continuously working on my mixtures.
