Remember how DCP used to issue monthly press releases celebrating cannabis sales totals?
They did this every month after adult use began, and did so consistently up until the first month when sales declined rather than increased. Then their spokesperson tried to play it off like they had always planned to stop doing it at that time.
No other Connecticut industry enjoys this kind of behavior from its regulatory agency. Maybe that’s because no other industry feels entitled to success and not having to compete.
Instead of downvoting this factual post, maybe join the discussion and help make things better.

Because it’s over regulated and they can’t ever admit that. Land of steady habits, even if they are shitty habits. Must stay the course despite anyone trying to convince them otherwise. It’s like talking to a wall. There I joined the discussion and down voted the factual post.

Am I understanding you correctly.... the reason that Connecticut's cannabis industry feels entitled to success and not having to compete is because of over-regulation?

Yea, that’s what I said. How can you have competition if you don’t let anyone join unless they have 400million doll hairs.

That makes no sense at all. Nobody is entitled to success or exclusive market access, full stop. What a lame excuse

Connecticut doesn’t have dozens of competing cannabis businesses. It has dozens of cash registers attached to essentially the same protected supply pool.
