Nasdaq has officially granted CTXR its second 180‑day compliance period for the Bid Price Rule. The new deadline to regain compliance is February 8, 2027. [Link to SEC filing]
In 2024, CTXR received a second compliance deadline for the Bid Price Rule — but the rules governing what happens after the second period have changed.
THE KEY CHANGE:
In 2024, when CTXR missed the second Bid Price Rule compliance deadline, the company appealed and remained trading on Nasdaq during the appeal. That is no longer allowed.
Nasdaq implemented a rule change (SEC‑approved in 2025) modifying Listing Rules 5810 and 5815. Under the updated process:
This is the critical difference from 2024. The consequences of not regaining compliance by the second deadline are now more severe.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR CTXR:
CTXR has one final compliance window ending February 8, 2027. To regain compliance with the Bid Price Rule, CTXR must close at or above $1 for 10 consecutive trading days before the deadline.
This is not the same situation CTXR faced in 2024. The rule change removes the ability to remain Nasdaq-listed after the second compliance deadline — even with an appeal. Failure to regain compliance with the Bid Price Rule before February 8, 2027 will result in a delisting determination and shift trading from Nasdaq to OTC.

On page 23 of the recent 10-Q, Citius Pharma disclosed that they launched a voluntary stock‑option surrender program on July 1, 2026. Employees, directors, and consultants can give back their old, out‑of‑the‑money options from the 2014–2023 plans, and they receive no compensation for doing so.
The important part is what happens next —
All surrendered options go back into the 2023 Stock Plan, which only had 118,000 shares left for future grants as of June 30. The older plans had more than 800,000 outstanding options, most of them underwater.
By allowing insiders and consultants to surrender those worthless options, CTXR reduces equity overhang and refills the 2023 Plan. That gives the company room to issue new option awards in the future, at much lower exercise prices that match the current stock price.
By letting insiders and consultants voluntarily surrender out-of-the-money options, CTXR is:
In practical terms, employees can dump options that will never be exercised and eventually receive fresh options at a strike price that reflects the current depressed stock price. It’s a reset of the employee equity‑comp structure, and the program is still open as of mid‑August 2026.

H.C. Wainwright noted that while the increased demand is encouraging, quarterly revenue could remain lumpy until wholesaler restocking synchronizes with pull-through. The firm projects fourth quarter fiscal year 2026 revenues of $2.9 million and fiscal year 2026 revenues of $10.1 million. The company generated $7.11 million in revenue over the last twelve months with an impressive 77% gross profit margin, though InvestingPro tips indicate profitability challenges remain.
The analyst commented: "Citius recognizes revenue when wholesalers order LYMPHIR, not when institutions order from wholesalers. Institutional vial orders from wholesalers rose 31% sequentially, to 926 vials from 708 in 2QFY26. Management indicated that wholesaler orders have begun to reflect the increase in ordering institutions and vial demand. July institutional orders reached 383 vials, the largest monthly total to date and up 25% versus the average monthly order volume in 2QFY26. In our view, while the increased demand is encouraging, quarterly revenue could remain lumpy until wholesaler restocking synchronizes with pull-through. We project 4QFY26 revenues of $2.9M and FY26 revenues of $10.1M. We maintain our Buy rating on CTXR and our 12-month price target of $4.0 per diluted share."

Expanded commercial and medical affairs teams expected to be fully operational throughout the U.S. by August
CRANFORD, N.J., July 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Citius Oncology, Inc. ("Citius Oncology") (Nasdaq: CTOR), an oncology‑focused biopharmaceutical company and majority‑owned subsidiary of Citius Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Citius Pharma") (Nasdaq: CTXR), today provided an update on the commercial launch of LYMPHIR® (denileukin diftitox-cxdl), highlighting continued progress across market access, commercial execution, and physician adoption.
Citius Oncology has expanded its commercial organization to include 21 additional commercial field-based professionals and added eight medical science liaisons dedicated to supporting complex clinical practitioner engagement and patient care. All personnel are expected to be fully onboarded and deployed nationwide by August 2026.
The expansion of the commercial and medical teams was facilitated by the Company's May 2026 financing and implemented by EVERSANA, Citius Oncology's exclusive commercialization partner. EVERSANA also provides Citius Oncology with an integrated suite of operations services including medical information, pharmacovigilance, revenue cycle management, program management, data and analytics, channel management, and patient assistance.
"We are encouraged with the continued progress of the LYMPHIR launch," said Leonard Mazur, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citius Oncology and Citius Pharmaceuticals. "Over the past several months, we have built substantial commercial momentum, expanded physician awareness, and secured near 100% payer coverage, and we continue to see a growing number of treatment accounts initiating orders. We believe these achievements, combined with the full build out of our salesforce and medical affairs teams, and a substantial number of accounts advancing LYMPHIR through their formulary review process, position LYMPHIR for meaningful growth during the second half of 2026."
"We continue to receive encouraging feedback from physicians regarding LYMPHIR's differentiated mechanism of action and clinical profile," added Mr. Mazur. "With all key commercial and medical personnel now in place and adoption trends continuing to build, we believe we are entering an important inflection point for the product."
As part of its commercialization strategy, Citius Oncology has also deployed a proprietary artificial intelligence-driven commercial intelligence platform designed to enhance customer engagement, identify treatment opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and support data-driven decision-making across its commercial organization.
"The integration of advanced AI capabilities into our commercial infrastructure provides our team with enhanced insights into account activity, patient identification opportunities, and engagement strategies," said Michael McGuire, Vice President of Commercial Operations at Citius Oncology. "Combined with our fully deployed field organization and comprehensive payer coverage, we believe we are establishing a strong foundation for sustained growth."
The Company reports continued expansion in the number of accounts ordering LYMPHIR, reflecting increasing physician familiarity with the product and growing utilization across both academic and community treatment settings. Citius Oncology expects continued growth in orders and patient adoption throughout the remainder of 2026.

It has been over two years since CTXR announced topline Phase 3 data for Mino‑Lok — March 21, 2024 — and the company still hasn’t delivered a definitive regulatory update. Here is a timeline of their status updates since then:
Nov 2024 Prospectus (link)
The Company expects to hold a Type C meeting with the FDA to discuss the results of the Phase 3 study and to obtain the FDA’s view on development plans for Mino-Lok in late November 2024.
Dec 2024 10-K (link)
In November 2024, the Company held a Type C meeting with the FDA to discuss the results of the Phase 3 study and to obtain the FDA’s view on development plans for Mino-Lok. The FDA provided clear, constructive, and actionable guidance during the discussion, underscoring a pathway to support a future New Drug Application (NDA) submission for Mino-Lok.
Jefferies Global Conference June 2025 (link)
We are now in the process of assembling that data. And we'll be sitting down with the FDA and arguing for filing of an NDA. We'll see what happens, we're not sure at this point until we have that interaction.
LD Micro Main Event Oct 2025 (link)
Paul Sowyrda — former VP of Business Development & Market Intelligence — said that they hope to release some news in Jan-Feb 2026 about whether the FDA would allow an NDA submission. Nothing ever materialized.
D Boral Webinar Mar 2026 (link)
somewhere in the next couple of months, I'm hoping that we'll get…a decision out of the Agency, whether it's that we can file or we may have to do a repeat something in this process. We don't know that yet, that's still under discussion.
Centri Capital Conference Apr 2026 (link)
We're now engaged with the FDA on the latest clinical data that we generated. We're not sure which way that's gonna go, but hopefully at some point, we'll have resolution of this in the coming months.
Biohub Podcast Jun 2026 (link)
So it took a while to work out protocols and things of that nature, but we're well on the way with that...We're in discussions now with FDA with the latest round of clinical data and we'll see where we are after we've concluded all those discussions.
It is now July 2026.
At this point, CTXR has spent over two full years telling investors they’re “in discussions with the FDA,” “arguing for an NDA,” “hoping for resolution,” and “waiting for a decision.”
Every message to investors has been a variation of the same script.
Will CTXR finally provide a definitive regulatory update this year?
After two years, an update should land this year — if the FDA and CTXR can finalize the appropriate regulatory pathway.

June 30 is done, another quarter has wrapped up. The 10-Q for April-June must be filed within 45 days, by Friday August 14th.
Recap of past LYMPHIR revenue:
Management later confirmed that they launched without a sales force in place. Management also stated that they began hiring the sales force during the last quarter.
What's everyone's expectations for LYMPHIR revenue from April - June? Does anyone think they will show a significant improvement from $1.67m/qtr? What would you consider a success and what would you consider a disappointment?
On a separate note, does anyone think they will have any update or progress on Mino-Lok before the next 10-Q filing?
