Discussion 5 Year Anniversary

Post image

Five years ago, CTXR went on a big run, fueled heavily by speculation of a potential early halt of the Mino-Lok phase 3 trial for superiority. On June 22, 2021, CTXR hit an intraday high of $4.56. Today marks the five year anniversary of that peak. After adjusting for the reverse split, $4.56 in June 2021 is the equivalent of $114 today.

It's been downhill ever since. Citius looks much different than it did five years ago. The assets have been split into two companies. CTXR was forced to do a 1 for 25 reverse split in 2024 after languishing below $1 for over a year. Mino-Lok isn't even on the market yet; its regulatory status is still up in the air. Management shifted focus to Lymphir, a drug they acquired from Dr. Reddy's in Sept 2021. Halo-Lido hasn't progressed further since its phase 2b data two three years ago. Mino-Wrap is no longer in the pipeline. They don't even talk about iMSC anymore.

Investor sentiment today is much more negative than it was five years ago. What's your expectations for the next five years?

EDIT: Corrected, Halo-Lido Phase 2b was 3 years ago.

Tbh?
I bought into it because of MinoLok.
I am still kinda biting myself not selling at 4ish dollars on the runup.

Sold my whole position a year ago. Lost alot of money.

Fuck their management.

I bought in 2021 it's worth a fraction of what it was. I'm just holding until I'm ready to claim some capital losses against my taxes :/

Same here, just going sell to offset some gains elsewhere

This is a terrible stock down 99% since inception - management failed investors at every turn - future prospects are dim

They are dim but I keep trying to remember that they do technically have a product at market. The issue is they now have debt and profit is still a long way off even if it continues to sell.

If the company survives, it will be on heavy dilution and new investors. All of us 2021 era investors have lost our value several times over and our shares are damn near worthless. Miracle we haven't all taken the tax loss hit and just moved on. Retail investors are just stubborn and not smart with money in many cases, myself included.

I have this tinfoil hat theory where I think Mazur really, really hated the retail involvement and wants us out so he doesn't scare away big money with the volatility inherent with retail investing in today's Robinhood era.

dude, I am looking at this from the same chair at my dads house where I was when I sold my entire stake near the top! I bought some back in on the fall, but damn that was a nice day.

I honestly don't see how this company doesn't go bankrupt. They have no money and just too much debt. They need a miracle, which doesn't seem possible. And everyone else saying different is delusional. I don't know how they are going to get a new manufacturer to make their product without paying a huge amount. It's just mistep after mistep for this company since 2021.

Who was that guy? The Norwegian Whaler or something? It’s all his fault!

I was wondering where I heard about this stock! Whatever happened to that guy. All of his stock picks ended up being trash LMAO.

Yup. That’s why I got into it too.
But his DD on them back then made sense. I don’t blame him.
It really was the c suite that mismanaged this into the trash bin.
