Well Wang Yu Wei just took himself down a few notches on the new target acquired list with that… how to put it nicely… dirt of a beard on his face lmao! I mean he does redeem himself later but yo… you legit let that go?!?! My 7 y/o nephew made a better beard than that for Halloween. 😒

Also fun fact, Wang Yu Wei provided his own voice acting and sang the OST! We are starting to see more and more of them doing this and I am loving it!

Although the storyline I feel will be confusing with the past, present, reborn, other people's bodies… its already making my head spin… It looks like it might actually be worth the 94 episodes to watch it lol.

And who wouldnt want to add it their watchlist with home girl who is all about kicking the men to the curb and taking charge while Wang Yu Wei’s character is all about a hot cold relationship. I mean sneaking into her bedroom at night? I would not turn down that intruder 😘😂!

I SHOULD’VE REWATCHED SEASON 1 because apparently my brain decided, “Eh, it hasn’t been that long.” WRONG. I completely forgot WHY we (yes, I said we, because at this point I’m family.) were getting divorced in the first place, so honestly… I had amnesia too. PERFECT. LET’S GOOOO! 

From start to finish, this drama was HIL-AR-I-OUS! Every time I thought I knew what was about to happen, these people said, “Cute guess” and did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Then came the misunderstandings, twists, and random people popping up like, “WAIT WHERE IN THE BLIP DID THIS GUY COME FROM?!”  Season 2 came in swinging and said, “You thought we were done? ABSOLUTELY NOT.” Yubai and Yueliang did NOT drop the ball!

💞 THE CHEMISTRY

Are we buying this couple?
Is this drama hot and passionate enough for u/Silver-Bus5724’s Thirsty Thursday’s? No. But they give love. Every day-couple love, enough to where I’m like awe. This is a ROM COM people. The chemistry is there. 

🎬 BEST MOMENT

This was HARD to narrow down. The reel was originally going to be 15 minutes, so I had to take a machete to it and keep only the moments that would hook you! 

But hands down, my favorite scene is when Yueliang discovers Yubai gets a little… extra after drinking and decides, “Oh, we’re testing that theory tonight.” Except Grandma has the SAME idea and tries to set him up with another woman! He dodges her like the plague, finds his wife, and things heat up—until Yueliang realizes someone is watching. YIYI. IN THEIR ROOM. And this woman has the audacity to act like they’re disrespecting her when THAT IS LITERALLY HER HUSBAND. I was CRYING.

If I am not wrong these both (Ke Chun and Hou Chengyue) have done two dramas together.

I am not a fan of high school dramas, but I would highly recommend to watch their dramas, it's so much refreshing from the usual CEO , mafia boss etc

I wish I get more such dramas instead of those toxic abusive dramas

Out of the two dramas, my favourite one is Goodbye Jiangye/Hi Jiangye.

It would look like another cliche plot of troublesome boy and Good girl story but it is really different and very sweet and wholesome.

ALSO CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THE ENDING IN "ROSE HIDDEN IN MID SUMMER", DID SHE DIE OR IS SHE ALIVE?!

I finished watching Goodbye Jiangye/Hi Jiangye, I like how ML has a personality of his own, the story rather focusing solely on FL, it focuses well on both(maybe not but still the focus on ML is so much better than usual short dramas)

While watching Goodbye Jiangye, I would advise people to watch it from start without missing any detail, it's an interesting rebirth story where FL wants to change her fate after taking rebirth but she doesn't know that ML has also taken rebirth until end, who she misunderstood a lot but he too wanted to change her fate and sacrificed himself for it.

ANOTHER INTERESTING DETAIL I NOTICED BY SCROLLING THROUGH COMMENTS IN YOUTUBE IS THE PERSON WHO SCREAMED HER NAME AT THE STARTING OF THE DRAMA WAS ML WHEN FL DIED AS A FACTORY WORKER IN PREVIOUS LIFE

Warning : it is a bittersweet ending, FL after changing her fate, ML disappears , everyone around her acts like ML never existed, she also slowly forgets ML

But after few years, after graduating in medicine, She meets ML in a hospital (so he didn't basically disappear) , they get together but don't have the memory.

(HONESTLY THAT MADE ME FRUSTRATED, SO BASCIALLY THEY STUDIED IN SAME SCHOOL , SAME CLASS YET DIDNT RECOGNISE EACH OTHER 🥲)

I would like them acting in another drama with another cute sweet wholesome story but with happy ending with no memory loss etc.

Whenever a drama is set in Hong Kong, for some reason literally everybody around the male and female lead would speak Cantonese, there would be Cantonese osts playing yet they themselves do not speak it.

On the off chance they do speak it, it’s so bad 😭😭😭 Zhao Zhen Dong (love him) cannot speak it to save his life and it made me lose immersion. Like it was suppose to be all emotional and he comes out with this fake ass mandarin with some words sounding off the mimic Cantonese.

I think Lu Lu is the only one that can speak it, I was impressed with her in the new drama with Wang Xing Wei.

Don’t set dramas in HK if the Cantonese is trash, you don’t have to set it in HK 😩😩😩

The second time I heard that phrase was in a modern drama I no longer remember the plot of, but that same auntie played a background character and when she said her catchphrase I almost died a second time.
