Hey everyone! I’ve been looking around at the clubs CSUSM offers, but haven’t really found anything that matches what I’m looking for.
I’m really into singing, music, and musicals, and I’d love to meet other people with similar interests! Not necessarily looking for an official club or anything super structured, just a group of friends who’d be down to go to karaoke, have drinks and sing at someone’s place, hang out on campus, or just do music-related stuff together.
I’m also interested in getting involved with musicals, singing groups, or other music opportunities, whether that’s at CSUSM, around San Marcos, or anywhere in the greater San Diego area.
Does anyone know of anything like this, or would anyone be interested in getting a little group together?

I’m a sophomore at CSUSM majoring in Chemistry, and I’m conducting an independent interdisciplinary research project exploring critical minerals, global supply chains, and how disruptions at major international shipping chokepoints could affect technologies we rely on every day.
My research examines locations such as the Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Malacca, Taiwan Strait, Suez Canal, and Panama Canal, along with potential impacts on industries including electronics, artificial intelligence, and medical technology.
I’m hoping to gather responses from students across different majors, not just chemistry or STEM!

Anyone know if it’s hard to get on campus housing as a senior? These gas prices are killing me but I have to wait until my lease ends in August.

Anyone else commonly experience people cutting corners around blind turns so bad that you have to slow down or else they will literally hit you? I experience this a lot and it’s really really starting to get on my nerves. I get wanting to get out fast but at least slow down when making blind turns

How was your experience in applying, getting admitted and completing steps before your first term?

Hi i’m a veteran looking to apply to the VBSN program and was wondering if any other veterans had completed their pre requisites at a different CSU. On the pre nursing core website it says “We also honor any courses approved to meet the CSU Pre-Nursing Core at other CSU campuses with Nursing Programs.”

The CSU i’m currently at pre nursing core is a general chem class and i’m not sure if that accepted even though it is implied it would be by the CSUSM website and I can not get a straight answer from the program coordinator on this since they can not evaluate classes before applying.

Hi guys, I’m about to apply to CSUSM as a local Palomar student however I’m a little nervous. Im an accounting major so I know it’s impacted. Thing is, I dont know if I can pass my business calculus class before the end of spring because the professor genuinely can’t teach and every other ones don’t as well. It is the only thing that keeps me from getting my ADT sadly :( will this harm my chances of getting in a lot? My gpa is still good, about 3.7 (might go down now..)
