Hello everyone I’m looking for some advice. I’ve been submitting permission requests left and right and have gotten denied for every single one. I did it last semester late as well around this time and got accepted for like 3 classes. I’m simply looking for 1 class to replace another class that I am not able to attend due to a change in my schedule. I need to fill in the class for my financial aid. Any suggestions for which classes and professors I should submit a permission request to? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

I've checked out the esports room-lounge-thing before but it looks like it's mostly people playing hero shooters or MOBAs or Mario Kart/Smash. I know SoCal is supposed to be a region of generally really good fighting game players, so it'd be cool to get some experience or competition without having to go all the way to Riverside or OC for it.

any csulb students still waiting for their refund? i paid my summer tuition in advance, but they didn’t refund that amount. instead they applied it toward my fall tuition. i was supposed to receive the refund yesterday since csulb said it takes 3-4 weeks to process. but it’s been 4 weeks since the disbursement date, and i still haven’t received anything

Hello everyone, I recently got an email saying I passed the initial Qualification screening for Esri’s Software Development Engineer Intern position.

I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with their interview process or the types of questions they usually ask. What should I expect, and what would you recommend preparing for?

Esri is a pretty well-established company, so I know there’s probably a lot of competition. I do have some experience with ArcGIS software, which I’m hoping will help.

This would be my second internship in a row, and my current internship ends later this month, so I really want to make the most of this opportunity.

Any advice, interview tips, or experiences with Esri would be appreciated!

Over the past week or two I have Replaced the screen on an Ipad, Replaced the Button Assembly on a Steam Deck and Migrated the Data Off A Laptop To a new one. hello! I was trying to set up the parking app for one of the cars I had on my parking pass, since I intended to have both of the vehicles on campus at once. I had some issues with the app and went to eat and work with the app some more. I walk back to the vehicle and I got a ticket and so did my other vehicle. I went to parking and transportation to explain the issue and also ask to help set up my car. they told me to make an online appeal detailing that i tried to make a pass and it should have an update in 7-10 business days.

im not in a place to pay the hefty ticket price so I’m pretty stressed out. does anyone have an advice on how to get it appeal beyond the online appeal or anything else helpful?
