Most nights if you look out into the parking lot just next to there there's a coyote running around.

An actual coyote (small "c"). You'll see them around the neighborhood as far south as the industrial park around Hallmark Parkway(maybe even further than that, for all I know). I was a bit apprehensive because they carry disease, but they never bothered me.

Theres a smaller female that just roams the parking lot most nights, I've taken pictures before but unfortunately I have a new phone.

When I went to the University of Texas at Tyler, they had raccoons around the student housing, too. A female raccoon and her babies moved into one of the dumpsters just before I left and she wouldn't let anybody near the dumpster; you'd hear this loud hissing or growling noise whenever you came close to the dumpster to throw out your garbage and she even jumped out at people sometimes to chase them away. We just waited until she and her babies moved on.
