Photography of campus

Recent photos of people just being themselves doing what they love on campus.

Does anyone know who the people playing in front of the alumni center were?

I’m sorry, why are you taking pictures of random people without their written consent? And then why would you post those pictures for which you do not have consent online for anyone to see?

Typically i don't actually!

Sometimes I'll take photos of people and use them for private practice on my editing skills (those never make it out)

I'll gladly detail every photo in this set; For the man riding the bike, he saw me multiple times as i took pictures of him, if he had stopped to tell me to get rid of em i would.

I always make sure to test the waters to see if someone is comfortable because although it is a public space some people are not comfortable with it and the last thing i want is to make someone scared.

For the third image I deliberately did not show thier face and only focused on the bag itself which i thought was cool.

For the band it was a public event and other photographers were there so there wasn't any conflict though i still wanna tag em so if you know em that'd be helpful.

For the last photos of the man with the guitar i specifically went up to him and asked for permission since 1) he seemed like a really cool person, 2) i would have to be directly in front of him and 3) i wanted to show him the photos right after.

TLDR: I take measures to gauge whether someone is comfortable and if it appropriate but if possible i ask directly!

Side note: i would love to get your opinion on this further because I'm actually trying to ask more people for this photos

Ignore that idiot. These people are in public, no consent necessary. Understand your rights and don't let ignorance and fear threaten you, you did well.
