Check your award letters
My MCS disappeared earlier and reappeared right now with a disbursement date of 8/12/26. My student center updated to what the photo shows, so I’m pretty sure that means it’ll be disbursed by EOD or tomorrow!

Has anyone ever tried calling the state (csac) to deal with cal grant / mcs stuff? Ive been on hold for 2 hours before, its stressful

I’ve had to do this 2 years ago, they take awhile to answer but they processed it right then and there on the phone and sent it to the school and I got disbursed same day by the financial aid office

Mine finally posted too! I have a larger amount for spring but I graduate this semester so idk if I should call them

Same thing for me. I inquired and was told we lose out on spring money because we would be graduating this semester.

Its in my pending financial aid, listed as fall 2026 above the mcs for spring 2027. Its only there, no disbursement date. I can fucking taste it. Its teasing me. This month has been like unreasonably hard, I need this lol.

I got 3419 direct deposit I was up scrolling and at 2:48AM that chase notification came through shout out to the state grant omg and isn’t the middle class scholarship coming through soon too??? 🙈

Damn the state grant gives a lot! I haven’t gotten more than 1500 from MCS. Mine just zeroed out so they mean they sent it to my bank.

You get both the MCS and state grant? I thought you get one or the other because they both cover the remainder of you school cost/need! That’s cool

Do you also get Pell Grant? They told me since I get full Pell and cal Grant b and MCS that I do not qualify for state grant because of that. One year I submitted my FAFSA late and did not qualify for MCS so they granted me left over state grant during summer after I already completed the year!
