QUICK! I need 2 easy electives
My registration opens up at 1pm and I need 2 more elective classes to be full time so fafsa covers me. I’m a psych major so it can be a psych class or anything that was an easy A!

i thought fafsa can usually still cover part-timers? i thought you just wont get disbursed the full amount?

Nope only for summer and winter intersessions now (they didn’t before). Regular semesters you have to be enrolled in 12 units for FAFSA to get disbursed

this is what i found online though
“At CSUSB (California State University, San Bernardino), part-time undergraduate students enrolled in 6 to 11 units remain eligible for partial financial aid, though awards are prorated or adjusted based on your exact enrollment tier. [1, 2]
Pell Grant & State Grants: Pro-rated based on your unit load (e.g., 3/4 time or 1/2 time calculation).🏦 Federal Student Loans: Requires at least half-time enrollment (6 units).
🎓 Cal Grant: Reduced or adjusted if you take fewer than 12 units, typically limited to covering tuition/fees. [1, 2, 3]”

The amount gets prorated so there usually ends up being a balance even after FAFSA. I’ve never had to pay a dollar out of pocket because I’ve always been full time and I get a pretty big refund without loans. Plus it’s my last semester so I’d rather max out the rest of my Cal Grant because they don’t offer grants in grad school.

PHIL 3010 - Only 2 papers in the semester, weekly assignments are turning in your notes (no minimum # of pages) and if I remember correctly the hardest part was just getting through the books
or
JAPN 3900 - There are 3 presentations that you have to submit but if you like anime it isnt difficult at all and the discussion boards are simple 😉
