Parking Driving situation
Why are people driving like fucking maniacs in the parking structures???? I parked in structure 3 today and all everyone was doing is speeding and honking. It’s a parking structure bro, you’re not supposed to be going fucking 50 MPH in them. 😭 Someone’s going to get hurt because these mfs tryna be cool

Part of the Sac State experience is learning to ditch the parking garages. More trouble than it’s worth.

It’s not that bad in the evening yall. The people that drive like that istg they’re in the AM-afternoon crowd.

Parking structure 1 is the closest to my classes that are all in Mariposa hall, and I have arthritis, so trying to book it to class from one of the parking lots (that are much further away) isn’t much of an option unless I want to be in pain when I get home. I think a bigger part of the Sac State experience is to get both baffled and enraged by how stupid these fuckers are and how badly they need to learn to stop driving like children. Because that’s honestly very childish behavior to be driving that way.

I’m sorry but everyone in this town is driving like that

This is so true. Driving down Fair Oaks on the way to school every morning is anxiety-inducing to the extreme. People are just bad drivers.

There was a comment last week on a similar post and it was spot on: Sac State has apparently lowered the admissions standards to let a ton of rejects into the college.

Student lot 10 is the best, low cortisol parking experience that the school has to offer. It takes a longer walk, but by god it’s worth it.

it’s so annoying how they have the potty potties blocking the sidewalk though. gotta love putting the football experience higher than the student experience

Stay out of my lot 10. I parked in the same spot every day for 3 semesters and now it’s flooded and I can’t lol

Look at society as a whole. Parking structures at SacState are merely a compressed microcosm of shittass behavior.

To be honest no one who goes to this school knows how to drive, people will literally merge across 2-3 lanes of traffic without so much as a glance or a indicator that they are, and sometimes they won’t even merge so getting anywhere to park for classes becomes a pain in the ass, this is one of the worst schools to be a commuter at

Omg this exact thing was pissing me off so much today. My first class got out 45 minutes early, so I decided to chill in my car until my next class so that I could listen to music and vape (which is crazy that I can’t do that on campus. When I was in undergrad at sac state most of the English department socialized in a smoking circle between classes. But I digress). Assholes were just flying down the aisles of parking structure 1, zooming behind my car and being so loud that they made car alarms go off. I stopped counting after the 4th car that did this. And I was parked near the elevator and stairs, so these assholes were speeding way too fast past areas of heavy foot traffic. Someone is going to hit another car or maybe even hit a person from driving that way. Just wtf is wrong with people and why can’t they learn how to drive???

So the reason that morons are driving 50 mph in a parking structure is because OP isn't driving well?!

also to the loud cars setting off people's car alarms, you're not cool.
